I saw Dr. Highlander for an ankle repairment surgery. His staff was very unfriendly, he was also constantly moving offices so when I called after surgery having issues, I was never able to get ahold of him. I ended up getting a surgical site infection and he refused to give me any medication for it. The surgery he did was unsuccessful because a year after his surgery and him clearing me to return ...

Great! I am so happy I stayed here in Bellevue as I normally seek treatment from doctors at the Clev Clinic. Dr. Highlander performed my ankle surgery and I healed up so quickly with excellent results. Yes..I would go to him again if need be in the future.

I'm emre 28 years old I have polyneuropathy. alias muscle in my arms and feet Doctors said there is injury. I have a lot of pain and contractions. I did not know what to do. I totally agree with the poster Chris B. Your first few appointments go OK. I was told what could be done for my foot problem and had various tests. After all is said and done BOOM he says he can't help me and I should try pain management. He didn't want to do surgery on me. He is a worthless doctor. Stay away! I found a wonderful doctor in Toledo. Have had surgery and feel great! I suffered for so long and messed around with Highlander when I could have been helped so much sooner!!

1st visit went well & he took his time with me. His nurse told me she was glad I did not go to pain management. 2nd visit was for MRI results, his student had different view of it as he did, seeing problems. He said there's nothing he can do for me, but suggested pain management. Contradicting. He was in a rush & did not spend 2 minutes with me. No reason I'd try him for help again. His staff very nice. 1 star rating for staff not doctor

Pete is by far the best doctor I possibly could of gone to when I broke my ankle. Some other doctors said that I wouldn’t be able to walk normal again. Then others said I would need a complete replacement. Dr. Highlander use to work in Wooster, that is where I first started going to him. Then he moved to NOMS and we followed him up there cause we knew he was best for my ankle. To this day I don’t regret driving over an hour to see him since he was the best doctor I could rely on.

This is the most Fantastic specialist I've ever dealt with! My husband saw his for an achiellis tendon repair. He was very thorough and had a great bedside manner. He took time and was genuinely concerned. I would recommend him to anyone. If we ever need an ortho doctor again, he is worth the drive to go see.

Had Neuroma removed. He gave his professional thoughts about my situation. Staff is friendly and appointments were made in timely manner. highly recommend

Such a great Dr,,listened,, and knew right away my problem, He knew the pain I was having was bad. .,, and told me all my options,, and what I can do to help it,, would recommend him to others ,, he was also patient w me during a procedure that he knew was painful , so nice!!!!!

Courteous, considerate, well informed, and importantly, effective. Not only was his office demeanor welcoming and concerned, but his operating room and follow up approaches were beyond reproach. Would gladly recommend Dr. Highlander to anyone whose maladies fall within his area of specialization.
