David Zaghlool's Online Review Report Card

Dr Zaghlool is an excellent physician/surgeon. My dad was hospitalized unexpectedly in 2020. Dr Zaghlool did a wonderful job in treating him. He had to go through a procedure and being someone that up to this point rarely had to be hospitalized or have a surgery was comforted knowing this Dr was the one that would be performing it. He not only saw my dad in the ER but followed up with him while in patient and checked in on him regularly. Both myself my sister and my mom were highly impressed with the care that was given to my dad by Dr. Zaghlool. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in his field he also took into consideration my dad’s concern and fears and really hear what my dad had to say. We were updated on a regular and consistent basis even through the pandemic the world was experiencing (which was impressive as someone who spent 20+ yrs in healthcare myself) He also saw my dad after discharge from AVITA and we experiencing the same consistency with everything I mentioned above

I was referred to him for urgent assistance from my abdominal pain at the ER. He got me in the next day and onto treatment.

Dr Zaghool’s beside manor was excellent. He made sure before the surgical procedure to explain what he was going to do and after the procedure to explain how it went. He went out of his way to communicate to my wife and I both. Went above and beyond what any physician has ever done. When I was in pain he made sure to get me in immediately.

He was my surgeon for the removal of my gallbladder. I was scared to say the least and this man went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable!! My recovery was awesome as well!! I am currently seeing him again for my thyroid issues. I will pick him over any other Dr every single time!!! He truly is the best ever!!!

I recently had surgery and this Physician was exactly what i needed. He diagnosed my problem, educated me on my options, and performed my surgery. My overall experience was perfect. No issues during or after surgery. I highly recommend this Surgeon.

I wish it was possible to give zero stars! Trust me you do not want this “Dr.” in charge of your care. My mother was just at the Galion ER and he was the surgeon on call. He refused to come to the hospital to treat my mother who had food stuck in her esophagus. The ER dr who assessed her knew she needed care and called him to come in but he refused! How unprofessional to refuse another physician!!! She was unable to swallow so every few minutes she would vomit her saliva and other secretions. She was in pain and was miserable. Her blood pressure was elevated and she was very distressed. The staff said that other surgeons come when called to help patients. He was refusing to come until the next day. He obviously has zero compassion for patients. Heaven help anyone who goes to the ER when he’s the surgeon on call! If you are looking for a surgeon skip over this one!

My 92 year old father was admitted to the hospital. Dr. Zaghlool met with my dad and explained that a ultrasound needed to be preformed and that he would be back after the test to discuss the results and the plan for treatment. The doctor NEVER came back but instead scheduled surgery for the following day. We asked for a second opinion because we had no idea of the results of the testing. We did not find out until an hour before his surgery the next day that Dr. Zaghlool had "washed his hands" of the case because we asked for a second opinion. He left my dad waiting with no food or liquid for over 40 hours. There was no communication! He abandoned his patient! One star is to high a rating!

I would recommend Dr. Zaghlool to anyone. Dr. Zaghlool is a wonderful, thorough and detailed surgeon. His bedside manner made my family and I feel beyond comfortable that we had picked the perfect surgeon. All the staff is very friendly, helpful and makes you feel beyond pleasant. Thank you so much for my wonderful care and for making my situation that less stressful and worrisome.
