Generations Senior Living Of Berea's Online Review Report Card

Have had experience with 4 local senior care facilities. Generations Berea was by far the best. We worked with a social worker for placement who told us Generations is the best but very difficult to get into. Fortunately, we were able to get mom in. To spend 6 months with a parent battling terminal cancer and to have those six months be filled with fond memories is a testament to the atmosphere and services that Generations provides. Everybody from the Administrator to the aides were "in the loop" and services and answers to questions were almost instantaneous. If a loved one needs to be in assisted living, try to get them in here. You will be so glad you did.

Generations Senior Living in Berea provides outstanding care in a family friendly atmosphere...plus their food is delicious!

Amazing staff! Such a beautiful facility! Very warm and welcoming! We moved my mother-in-law in this weekend and we had an awesome experience! We are so happy with the entire process!!

We moved my father- in-law out of his home, out of his state (Western New York) and away from his brother and sister and oldest son. Still this was the best move for him. His family was able to come an visit, and his life improve so much we couldn't believe it. He had friends, so many people who watched over him and he was so happy to be there. They were like family, they cared and treated him so well, we all new we had picked the perfect place. Generations Senior Living of Berea was our extended family. We still stop by and see our new friends and how they are doing.

I normally don't write reviews, but in this case, I felt the need to share our feelings about the staff at Generations Berea.  It is an amazing assisted living facility with a wonderful staff.  Jodi and Paula have been exceptional in their kindness and helping my mom get accustomed to assisted living.  When I walked into Generations Berea, I needed to find a place for my mom quickly.  Jodi gave me a tour and was remarkable.  I instantly felt a connection. We moved my mom in two days later and she now has been there for 6 months and has adjusted very well.  At first, she was not able to walk on her own.  The aides along with Jodi (executive director) and Connie's (head nurse) direction, slowly built up her confidence by following her in a wheelchair, until she eventually was walking with a walker again on her own.  Peggy, the activities director, encouraged her to go to a few activities and is wonderful.  The food is delicious and the place is so clean.  My mom now feels very comfortable there and it really feels like home to her.  Thank You to everyone!Connie B.

My siblings and I are delighted with the excellent care, attention and love that our mother receives at Generations. She moved in on short notice more than a year ago, and felt welcome immediately. We have found the staff -- starting at the top -- to be consistently attentive, courteous, responsive and flexible. Most of all, the staff take the time to listen to residents, get to know them, and celebrate them. They pair together in the dining room people with similar interests, which makes for a lively table! (I hear a lot about the great desserts, too). Generations is located in a wonderful town, and within walking distance of a magnificent scenic park, a well-stocked library, and the historic Triangle in Berea, and other amenities. We are confident that our favorite resident feels safe at Generations -- where she has quickly made lots of new friends. Highly recommended!!
