Doctor Hickman and the entire staff are the best in the business. Professional, caring, quick and advanced in their equipment and procedures. On both emergency occasions has gotten me taken care of immediately and on the first I wasn’t even a current patient.

I have been going to Dr. Hickman for about 20 years. Dr. Hickman is professional and very understanding of the fear associated with dentistry. His office is busy but they always manage to get me in when I have an emergency. I am willing to drive the 40 miles to have such a great dentist. All of the staff are nice and well trained. The office is spotless.

I had to share about my experience I had here at Dr. Hickmans office. I had a lot of anxiety going in, I had no idea what to expect but I definitely knew I was at the right place the staff is so friendly and welcoming, I really appreciated how thorough and confident Dr. Hickman explained each procedure and option I had. I’m so thankful for the care I received and now look forward to future visits.

Was told by Dr Hickman that at 50 years old I would need braces and that he would not do a dental implant which I did have space for until I saw an orthodontist and had the braces. The orthodontist his office referred me to just happened to be his wife’s practice. I was told at that orthodontist appointment by a doctor that was not his wife that I didn’t need braces unless I wanted to correct my overbite or overcrowded, both of which I’ve had for the last 50 years and that I did have space for the dental implant. When Dr Hickman’s office called me to ask about my orthodontic appointment I was informed he would not do the implant unless I got braces. Never went back to his office. He had seen me for 2 years and never mentioned me needing braces and all of a sudden I need them and am being referred to his wife who is an orthodontist. Never went back. I’m so happy with my new dentist.

Dr. Hickman at havens family dental does a great job taking the time to explain the process of your dental treatment, start to finish. I had a filling done on a tooth that had been bothering me for a very long time. From the numbing to the drilling I didn't feel a thing. I have since had zero issues with this tooth. I have referred my family and friends to have their oral health needs to be taken care at havens family dental and I highly recommend this office to you and your family as well. I am an anxious dental patient because of bad past experiences. Everyone made me feel at ease, and I was impressed with Dr. Hickman's common sense approach to my plan and to other concerns. It was a good experience, and I will be going back.
