I have been a patient of Dr. Arar's for more than 10 years. My last visit to him was rushed, and very little information was shared as he mumbled about the "recommended" procedure he wanted me to have. When I tried to communicate with him through the patient portal, the office manager (a former scribe) responded. How insulting!! CEI has been absorbed by two larger corporations over the past couple of years. This, in and of itself, causes me to wonder if $ for "recommended" procedures is more about revenue than patient care and compassion. I will not be returning to Dr. Arar or any of the CEI ophthalmologists. CEI needs to focus on its patients' well-being and forget about building a money-making empire.

Definitely recommend Dr. Arar. He doesn’t rush thru, he is approachable and answers my questions and he listens. And he actually asks follow up questions about issues from previous visits.

Dr Arar is amazing. He performed a surgery that prevented glaucoma. My eyesight is perfect
