Eugene Potesta's Online Review Report Card

My 80 year old mother went to see Dr. Potesta and he was very arrogant and rude. He said he couldn't help her mucus issue because she had Parkinsons and walked out of the room. How does a doctor treat an 80 year woman like that and why should he get paid for that type of service? Would never recommend Dr. Potesta. He needs to learn some bed side manners, how to be respectful to his patients, knock the chip off his shoulder and know that there are far better other doctors out there.

I gave a 3 bc he had been my dr. for allergies and there was no problem, he performed surgery on my daughter for her deviated septum bc of her age we were told it may go back...it did. But my problem with the nurse I spoke with i wish I had gotten her name. My insurance changed in 2019, my copays would be $100/mo for my injections, and then I guess the nurse didn't know that there was this small thing happening in 2020 called a global pandemic so I hadn't been to the office in over a year. Mall of my other specialists actually cancelled appointments last year out of an abundance of caution...any who.. I am scheduled to get my covid vaccine next week and called to make sure I would be safe with the allergies I was told I had, she told me that I want a patient, I corrected her, she then proceeded to tell me that allergies change all of the time and I should check with my oco, so no hypocratic path for her, as long as I'm paying u can answer a simple question, but if I die bc of a severe allergic reaction I have instructed my family to sue the oants off of them.

Dr. P has a great bedside manner. Did my UPPP surgery for snoring. Could not be happier. Highly recommended!

I love Dr. Potesta he has the hands gifted from God because I would not be here if it weren’t for him first applying an emergency tracheotomy and a much needed surgery a week later. He knows who I am and I will always remember who he is!

Dr.Potesta has excellent bedside manners. Was very nice and made me feel safe to send my son with him. He joked around with my son. The surgery went very well my son is already breathing better. Can’t wait for two weeks later to see how well he’s breathing then. 🙏🏼 thank you Dr.Potesta my baby is my everything!

Ignorant staff and doctor. Place says I owe a copay even tho I paid it the time of the visit and have the receipt to prove it. They are trying to double dip. The care I received was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Won’t even take my son to him. I completely recommend mercy health ent’s not this place

horrible doctor. found out my SSA blood results were elevated (which indicates potential Sjorgrens syndrome) and he basically said it’s really not a big deal to have a dry throat and there’s nothing he can do for me. He left me so defeated. Now I have a doctor who actually is taking it seriously considering it is an autoimmune disorder. There actually are things to do and ways to figure out if it’s for sure what i have, but according to him there isn’t. I’ve never had such a heartless doctor who looked at me like such an inconvenience instead of helping me. And what’s up with leaving the patient doors open for all to hear the CONFIDENTIAL conversations!? When i asked for my door to shut he acted like they’re always shut so he didn’t know why i said that. Uhm considering i sat there for a half hour and was able to hear everyone’s issues and could see inside the room tells you that was NOT the case. DO NOT GO TO HIM. and i’m not one to complain. But i despise this place. waste of $$!!!!

Very hard to get a hold of. You always get a voicemail when calling to just confirm or make an appointment. I do like the care from the physicians.

Dr. P went out of his way back in May to come to arkons to take a look at my little boys ear. ( he was bit by a mosquito and his whole ear swelled up while pushed forward. My son was battling ear infections at the time. My son was almost misdiagnosed with Mastoiditis and had a bad reaction to the mostquito bite. Dr. P willingly offered his time to go ahead and put tubes in the next day. He also used my sons situation as a case study. I’m shocked to read a review of him being a jerk as he was very kind and caring and took time from his busy schedule to fit my son in for tubes. This was in May of 2017 my sons ears have been perfect. 🙂

I took my Dad here a couple months ago for him to have his ear cleaned.There was some ear wax that needed to be removed and being our other ear specialist was on vacation and then all booked up for weeks later,I had no choice but to bring my dad here to this quack!After waiting an hour past his appointment time,He was finally seen by Dr.Eugene Potesta,(otherwise known as a quack)He was unfriendly right from the beginning and when my dad asked him questions as to pertaining to his ear,this guy did not want to give any answers about my fathers ear.My Dad then asked him why he is not using water to flush his ear out like other doctors have done in the past?Dr.Potestas answer was (Im the doctor and I'll do things as I see fit)To make a long story short,When we left his office that day,There was some improvement but he still had wax partially blocking his ear.We felt so uncomfortable with this quack and how nasty of an attitude this man has,We didn't dare ask him anything else.This was absolutely the worst service and nastiest doctor we have ever seen and I don't know how he can even have a business.For the last few weeks,We have been receiving a bill from this quack for$215.00 REALLY,FOR WHAT????,To be treated with total disrespect and not have the job done that we came in for.We went down to the office yesterday and questioned this bill and laura from billing said she would look into the matter and speak to the doctor.and then call me.We left the office and within 10 minutes of the time I left,There was a message on my phone telling me to contact them,I tried calling back and no answer,so being I was not far away,I went back. I'm glad I did,because standing right at the counter was the quack himself,Dr.Potesta He said you will pay that bill or I will put it to collection. I said go ahead,I will look forward to that and take this to court.In summary,It's our opinion and if you don't want to have anything done and be disrespected and ripped off and see the biggest quack of all time,then you have come to the right place!Good luck dr.Potesta on getting your money from us,Never going to happen and we will fight this to the highest extent of the law.
