Not happy with doctor's diagnosis without complete exam and proper testing, I went to another doctor and discovered that I have a serious condition that will require constant follow-up with more endoscopies. I really liked him and was disappointed with the outcome when I developed serious pain and swelling of the abdomen.

Very intelligent but not very personable; in fact, could be called rude. Dosen't seem to listen to the patient. I left feeling a little beat up.

Dr. Koval is one of a kind. He listens and offers his advice with no pressure and in a very comfortable atmosphere. There's a reason why he is one of the Vindicator's most liked physicians.

Just want to congratulate Dr. Koval on receiving the GOLD award from the Vindicator....he is a caring doctor who is appreciated by all of those who visit him...he certainly deserves it!! Larry Jensen (Nancy would even agree too :) )

After missed diagnosis in Trumbull county as well as messed up medical orders while in hospital....thank God I was steered to Dr. Koval. Have now been under his care for over 6 years. He is patient...listens to his patient...extremely thorough...takes time w you .

Wonderful doctor. My 79-year-old mom was at an appointment to see Dr. Koval and she had to take along my invalid dad, who was using a walker. As my mom was taking care of her bill and making her next appointment, Dr. Koval offered to take my dad to the car. He did, and had him in the car and all settled in when she went out.

Dr. Koval is a thorough and skilled clinician. He takes his time and never makes us feel rushed. He is engaged, thoughtful and the only Provider that has ever called personally to go over test results and / or discuss concerns, answer questions etc.. Dr. Koval has been our doctor for the last 15 years and we’re grateful for his dedication and commitment.
