Absolutely terrible doctor. He saw my 6 month old daughter who had labored breathing, fast heart rate, and vomiting from congestion and he gave her Zofran and Pedialyte and sent us home. Said her breathing and HR were fine and didn't even mention the congestion. Took her to a follow up with her pediatrician and her doctor was very upset and told us she shouldn't have Zofran until she is 2 YEARS old and she has an upper respiratory infection and a double ear infection. We threw the Zofran away...Oh, and his bedside manner was awful. He was dismissive and in a hurry.

I Brought my son in respiratory distress. When I brought him in his O2 stats were at 93%. Stats should be 95% or higher. This doctor did not come in and listen to him at all at first. They treated him per usual with nebulizer treatments. They gave him a steroid. My sons stats were not improving, they were getting worse. This doctor came in and told me that he was sending him home. I looked at the stats and then looked at the doctor and said that his stats are worse then when we came in. This doctor told me that he has sent kids home with lower stats then that before. The doctor only checked my son one time and never acknowledged that my son was sick and that was the whole reason for him to be in respiratory distress.

My child was very sick and had limited time. We were given a horrible diagnosis a month prior of a terminal brain tumor. She had some complications and had to present in the ER. This mans treatment was less than humane. The lack of compassion was unbelievable and the amount of pain he allowed her to be in because she simply was a “very sick kid” is incomprehensible. A man of this character should no longer be treating patients in any capacity.

My Grandchild, who had been diagnose with an aggressive brain tumor, needed emergency care for a blockage in her intestine. She came to the emergency room in incredible pain. He was the most uncaring doctor that my family has ever seen, and showed no compassion for my Grand daughter's condition at all. I see his age at 64. Time for him to retire. How a pediatric hospital can have a man such as this on their staff is beyond me.

Do not let him treat your children. Horrible bed side manner. He is rude and didn't even understand my child's condition before telling him to take OTC meds. Did nothing for my suffering child!

Dr. Billow was quick on recognizing the symptoms of my sick child.. So thankful for his care

This Dr should not practice. Did not physically exam my son. Gave horrible medical instructions. Did nothing to help my son, then on the discharge instructions stated to bring him back if he had the same symptoms he walked in with and they did nothing to assist. He asked if we would "feel" better if he put some specialist Dr names in the chart! Waiting on an apology and action plan from the hospital due to his lack of care!

Took my son to the emergency room of Akron childrens in boardman. Dr Billow was the pedetrician working. Before he walked in he alresdy had a diagnosis, spent a total of 30 seconds in the room with us and did no sort of check up on him. The nurses on duty said the emergency room had no other patients so it wasn't that he was in a hurry to tend to other patients. Didn't give a chance to ask questions or express any concerns we had, he walked in gave a diagnosis by looking at him and said its nothing to worry about and walked out.
