Patrick Lee Shannon's Online Review Report Card

Because I disagreed in 2015 about medical care, they REFUSE to see me. I do not RECOMMEND this establishment. They are willing to see my husband but not me. His appointment is canceled as well and we will remember not to ever make an appointment. Interesting you NEVER GET TO SEE SHANNON. He is always operating!!! Since he is operating, maybe he is practicing. Find someone that cares. If I could give NO STARS I WOULD.

My dad was a patient here in 2015 through the VA. Horrible, life changing experience.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. As a first time patient I waited 2 hours past my appointment time to be seen. She did not even try to build rapport with a simple greeting upon meeting me. She observed my skin and diagnosed me with a chronic autoimmune condition and was unwilling to elaborate on the condition or treatment options, even after me posing questions. I had questions regarding the laundry list of medications she was prescribing and she redirected me to another staff who was unknowledgeable and told me I could “look it up” if I had questions on the diagnosis. The interaction was less than 7 minutes. As I was speaking, she proceeded to exit the room with her hand on the door, telling me to make another appointment for any additional concerns. I WOULD NOT ADVISE THAT ANYONE GO. I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE SEEKING A NEW DERMATOLOGIST. I WOULD NEVER TRUST HER JUDGMENT BASED IFF OF THE LACK OF BASIC REGARD FOR PATIENTS. Even the receptionist lacked eye contact and people skills. But at all a welcoming or comfortable environment. Absolutely horrific experience.

I highly highly recommend Dr. Shannon. One of best doctors - maybe the best doctor I have been around: Professionalism, demeanor, care, concern, time spent with you and explaining your situation and what it means. I wouldnt even consider going to someone else. I am a long time patient-over 10 years.

I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Shannon or staff. Waiting time is a little on the long side but well worth it...and not much different from any other doctor. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I had a rash that was misdiagnosed - Dr. Shannon immediately diagnosed correctly, informed me of how I most likely contracted the infection (gym) and I was markedly improved in 24 hours after starting the correct Rx. Very kind yet professional demeanor.

After years of on/off breakouts, large pores and blackheads, Dr. Shannon has been the first dermatologist that I have seen to spend the time in helping me find the right products. In addition, I have tried an office visit of microdermabrasion with a licensed aesthetician. I have been blown away by the results. I wish I had done this years ago. The microdermabrasion in combination with the face wash and suggested prescription products is slowly clearing up my skin. I can't wait to see what the microdermabrasion can do after more appointments. The staff is also knowledgeable and I don't feel concerned about misdiagnosis. I had a sore on my chest that would not go away for months. He diagnosed it on the spot and the cream he gave me finally healed the lesion. I am grateful that I don't have the constant skin irritation. All my concerns were addressed and I am grateful that I have finally been able to find a doctor to listen to my concerns and help me with suggestions that really are working! I was ready to give up entirely.
