Had a double mastectomy, 7 years ago, had colonoscopy 4 years ago and a upper scope 1 year ago. He also does my ultrasounds every year since have my double. Love Dr. Devito and his staff. Highly recommend.

I had a ddj done def 2020 for Sma syndrome. Left me unable to eat much at all. I live off a feeding tube now. I had crohnic pelvic and stomach pain that I was told was from SMAS. My after care was absolutely disgusting how I was treated. I have dumping syndrome and was told it was all in my head ! He was mean, sarcastic, dismissive , his staff even poked fun at my weight, ( I lost 16 lbs, I was 96 and for down to under 80 lbs ), he treated me as if I was crazy . I almost died. Cleveland clinic saved my life and I found out The pain is from Crohn's disease not sma. So ty for making my life much harder ! I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

Dr Devito was the only doctor who took my stomach issue's seriously. He caught my horrible gallbladder and did surgery as soon as possible. He was so friendly and respectful i couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Edit: Had umbilical hernia surgery where they found a 2nd hernia. Today is 6 days post op and so far so good.

Just finished my surgery today and am home and doing good! And let me tell you I would choose no other surgeon he is very knowledgeable and professional and cares about his patients. Best surgeon in the area I would recommend no one else.

Dr. Devito performed a basic surgery on me that included a complication, obviously I have no idea what he did but I do know that I am issue free and I have Dr. Devito to thank for that. I highly recommend him and I will trust him in the future

Dr Devito has been my doctor for 20 or so years...Excellent surgeon...i owe my very life to him..such a good man!!!

I wish I could give a 0 rating or lower. Dr. Devito sent another doctor to talk to me prior to my surgery. I only saw him as I was being carted into the room. I feel that he did not give any regard to my history. I had complications a week later and he sent me to a different hospital than I am used to. After the first test it appeared that it should be a simple fix with a laxative, but he refused me the laxative for three days while running many radioactive x-rays. The insurance company has reviewed the tests as unnecessary. I agree with them, and was begging for a simple laxative or to be permitted to leave the hospital and go to a pharmacy on my own, but I was told I could not leave. He even billed the insurance company for days that he did not even see me. Another doctor or resident dr. looked in on me once a day. I tried talking with his receptionists to pay my bill for the surgery but ask for a reduced payment for the complication visit because he was not even present most of the days, but the lady hung up on me. It has been extremely frustrating. Research your surgeon even in emergency situations if at all possible.

Dr DeVito is an excellent surgeon and physician. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and welcomes any questions. His staff is very friendly and helpful, too.
