Very patient listener.
I would give this business zero stars if I could… I have had my couples therapy appointment for about a month and just got a call at almost 6pm on a Friday that my Monday appointment was scheduled “in error” for Mary. How did this go so long without getting noticed? How are you going to cancel a therapy appointment because it was made “in error” because your schedulers are so lazy they can’t make sure if a provider does the couples therapy first before confirming the appointment? Not even oh your provider is sick, no it’s “your appointment was made in error, she doesn’t do couples therapy” Seriously…. Not even individual therapy, you cancel my couples appointment that took a little while to wait for as it is….. Then the manager who called me says there’s one in Twinsburg for March 12th and I said okay just put me down for that one then. Then she says “I’m sorry that’s the same provider who you scheduled with for your individual therapy” so that’s a conflict of interest.. So I didn’t want to hear how much longer the appointment would have been after that and said forget it and hung up. Please cancel my individual therapy appointment with Kathleen in Twinsburg. I will find another business because imagine how not genuine the therapy will be because the schedulers can’t even do their jobs. Peace.
I got hung up on and then they wanna charge you $75 for missing the appointment. I think that sucks.
I have a renewed faith in the mental health process after my first visit with Tina Steen! She heard me! Her kindness, compassion and great skill, was the beginning of my treatment plan. She won my trust quickly, no one can fake sincerity! I am sure I’ve found my person!
I had a amazing overall experience
I have been a patient of theirs almost a year now and I have a lot I would like to say regarding my experience. But unfortunately it is too many characters for a Google review. Initially it looked like a wonderful company with a easy-to-use interface and a lot of providers to choose from. Looked shiny and professional and like I could find a real network to better my whole family's mental health. The website is honestly good for nothing except making billing you easy. This is a private equity company which means money is the bottom line and after seeing several providers over the last year I feel like I need to let other people know that this is not the safest space for you to go in your time of need like me. Also the company is being sued by its shareholders for falsifying information regarding their providers to try to make this company look more valuable than it really is because they don't retain as many psychiatrists as they want to say they do. Several of the therapists that I have seen have been not up to providing a professional therapeutic relationship. The first one that I met through this company was the absolute most painful meeting I have ever had with a therapist. He came into the appointment just to tell me how I had too many problems and it was too much of a mess and because it was a divorce process there was too many legal issues and he did not want to get involved with it. I tried to be objective and just see this as professionalism someone saying that they weren't up to the task but honestly it wasn't done in a professional way it was done in a degrading way and insulting and telling me that basically my circumstances were just too mucky and difficult for him to want to take on to help me and my children. He makes to much money to deal with "real" people. I cried for days. After waiting months for that appointment to be told I was to much. So I tried to take what he said and readjust my plan and I thought I would start with just me and my partner seeing a specialist and build a relationship and then we would be able to start working with an on our issues with the children, the next provider that we seen several times over several months was even worse I have never been in such a uncomfortable therapy session and not because she was asking me hard questions or making me reflect but because she just sat there and stared at me and my partner. Not just a little bit I mean in a unbelievably cartoonish way. Leaving me and my partner not having anything to say and awkwardly talking to each other. It was a disaster and my partner already has lots of issues opening up, this was embarrassing for me to have put him through this telling him that these people are going to help us. I kept giving it a try appointment after appointment until finally after hours with her we finally got to the point where I was explaining the basics of our situation that brought us there. Which should have been covered a lot sooner but she wanted to get as many appointments out of us as possible I guess. And while I was explaining this very complicated situation it came to a question that the answer was very stigmatizing. I made myself vulnerable and gave her this information, and I will literally watched her go from the edge of her seat to leaning back and rolling her eyes and at that moment making a judgment about me and my family that was obvious. I've seen that look before after that she was done talking again she had made a judgment call about me my parenting and my family regardless of what the truth is and she wasn't going to do anything positive for us after that. I left almost immediately because of how obvious what just happened was. I cried for days having wasted so much time and opening up just to be treated like that. It still hurts to think about. I waited more months and tried with someone else and I keep telling myself it's just me I'm just the problematic one, my mental health has been negatively effected by this experience. I have more to say, the M.H industry is disgusting right now and we need to talk about it
I’ve not only found an amazing, understanding and knowledgeable doctor but also someone who truly wants to see you do good, and is always in your corner! I am incredibly grateful for LifeStance. I do my visit through zoom and it’s incredibly easy to use but also convenient for a stay at home Mom.
Rob is a true professional and has helped me get to my goals and maintain a positive outcome. I highly recommend Rob and lifstance therapists
booking was very easy, this is my first time signing up and my counselor is amazing! I would definitely recommend. Appointments are in person or virtually, they are totally flexible and are always sure to send out reminder messages and emails about up coming appointments. I have no complaints.
Highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
