Gregory Golonka's Online Review Report Card

I found Dr. Golonka to be very dismissive. Don't bother to do any of your own research to advocate for your child, because he will dismiss everything you say as if you are incapable of doing your own research because you don't have an MD after your name.

Been seeing this Dr since 1997 for my daughter will follow him if he moved to China. Best care!

By far my favorite pediatrician for my kids. He trusts mom's opinions. He saved my daughter's life. No other doctor believed when I said she was throwing up everything and he said go take her downtown now, if you don't have transportation call for an ambulance. We went and she was dehydrated and failure to thrive. If he wasn't there that day, I don't know what I would have done. He was the only one who believed me when I said something was wrong. If I didn't move i would still go to him.

My son was born with multiple medical issues and had had a very rough start in development. Dr. Golonka has been my "run to" Doctor since my son was about 2 years old and he is now 24 with disabilities. I trust him completely and believe me there has been serious medical issues. There was nothing he didn't know and always kept me calm! If you're lucky enough to have your appointment with him, you've got the best!

Dr. Golonka is a very caring and professional doctor. He has cared for my three children for the past seven years. He happily tolerated my "New Mom" years when I thought every sneeze was urgent, and he has patiently cared for my oldest as he battles Asthma. What impresses me most about him is that he genuinely listens to the children AND to me.

Dr Golonka is the "patch adams" of doctors. Very kind and good at answering questions. However, with his huge out of control practice and unprofessionalism of his staff, it is difficult to actually have your child seen by Dr. Golonka. My child had a serious diagnosis that went on for over 2 weeks before the doctor or his colleagues would order the right test for the diagnosis. I called the office several times (oftentimes the line is busy) and was told that the doctor available was out to lunch and not taking any calls - that I could call back in an hour. I was dismayed to say the least. If Dr. Golonka was his own "one man show" I would definently stick with him. However, unfortunately I am forced to seek out another pediatrician for my child.

Dr. Golanka has been seeing our kids for last 11 years.We moved about an hour away from his office.He is sooooo gooood, we couldn't dare to change him.I am a nurse and feel very safe with his recommendations, very laid back,extremely knowledgeable.Would call you in the middle of night, if needed.Not only that, there were few times when he called just to give us reassurance( just when you need reassurance regarding your kids, not false one though).He takes lots of pride and honor in what he does.You can tell, he loves his profession( not for money).Can't say enough good things about him.
