Dr Karas is an amazing surgeon, she cares about each patient, she is kind and supportive through the journey and wants to help you see success. The program provides nutrition education as well to ensure long term success. July 2021 is two years since she helped me change my life and I am forever grateful.

Dr. Karas is very personable from my very first encounter with her. She listened to all of my concerns regarding the Bariatric surgery and helped me make the best choice. She was very thorough in her preoperative testing, which revealed some other health issues that I was able to have resolved. She really gets to know her patients. I was inspired because she actually exercises along side of the patients. She has been one of my biggest cheerleaders, encouraging me every step of the way. The surgery has forever changed my life. My blood Pressure is down, medications have been eliminated and I feel like exercising on a regular basis, a feeling I have never had before. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Karas and her team for encouraging and supporting me on my journey to a healthier life. Bariatric surgery gave me a new lease on life.
