My husband had a bone spur in his shoulder causing pain and was sent to Orthoone in Columbus who was trying to have him scheduled for surgery the following week, we told them to hold off and had a second option with Dr. Kalb who informed us that people live with these everyday without know and asked if he would like to try injections first, in which he did and it prolonged him having to have surgery for at least a year. After the surgery was done he has a quick healing time with no problems and was back to working his maintenance and carpenter job with no problems to this day. I am a firm believer that what you do after a surgery sets you up if is going to be successful or fail and it was stressed to him he had to do his PT which he did.Dr. Kalb has also repaired a trigger finger injury that he sustained at work and was only off work until it was closed and has had zero problems with is. I personally see him with my ortho needs along with my daughters. He was able to give us answers we were unable to get from Children’s and come to find out whatever Children’s was calling her knee problem was not the actual thing.I think what I like best about him is he is not a pain pill pusher and when my husband had his shoulder surgery they gave him a morphine pump block right to the spot so he did not need pain meds! It was good for three days.

He bascially refuses surgery to my fiancee CX cause he smokes. Do not recomend him.

Dr. Kalb has done 2 surgeries on my left knee I put all my confidence in him he’s a wonderful surgeon and his staff is great too.

I highly recommend Dr. Kalb he removed a Rod in my lower leg that was giving me trouble that was put in 2017 from me falling. He listens and pays attention to every word you say and is all around a great doctor. I asked about a nerve block right before my surgery and he had them give it to me because I knew it was going to be very painful after the removal of the Rod made it much easier for me to control my pain. Woke up from surgery with no pain. I'm very grateful for him for the time and help he gave me when no one else would.

This Doctor is Phenomenal. In 2015,My Spouse fell & broke his left ankle & severed it across. He was rushed to the hospital where Dr. Kalb performed performed temporarily emergency surgery to reset the ankle till the swelling came down so the V.A. could permanently set the Ankle with screws & plates.This Doctor did an Exceptionally Awesome Job before the V.A. could get to it. Wonderful Thanks Go Dr. Robert Kalb for saving his Ankle ! I would highly recommend this Doctor.

Short waiting time. Excellent experience. Very complex surgery with great results. Cost less than expected. Dr. Kalb was able to find the reason for the problem with my hip and knee and fixed them both.

Great Doctor Knowledgeable

Worst doctor I have ever seen, took an hour and a half to even get X-rayed. His staff and him were rude and did not care for their patients.

I had great experience this staff was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable.Dr. Kalb, He was very nice, great job explaining things, made me feel very comfortable, great listener. I left feeling very positive.
