In April, 2021 I went to Aultman Hospital because I woke up with rectal bleeding. Dr. Libertin was the gastro doctor on duty. He never told me exactly what was going on with me. In fact he never examined me or talked to me. I basically got my information from a nurse. His entire demeanor was based on my time spent as the patient of another doctor in the same practice he is in. The other doctor and I had a personality clash. I asked Dr. Libertin if I had to have colon surgery. His reply was “no, I’m not touching you I know your backstory”. ..????

Dr Libertine and staff was so nice and respectful. They turned a very negative situation into a Very positive situation. Dr Libertine called me the next day after procedure to see if i was ok. If we had more Drs like him, then we wouldn't have to worry about any thing. Keep up the awesone work.

I had a VERY GOOD experience with Dr Libertine and staff. The nurse practitioner turned a totally bad experience that i had 4 yrs ago to a very positive. They answered all my questions in a Positive way. I had NO bad experience at all. Dr. Libertine had called to see if i was doing good. I haven't had a Doctor to call me himself for years. That told me alot about the Dr himself.

The one work that I can use to describe him would be "creepy". I cant put a specific example, but was very uncomfortable by his overall presence and mannerisms. For other female patients that have to see him, I strongly suggest you get someone to go in with you or request a female nurse to be there during all exams.

Pleasant gentleman with much experience! Accurately diagnosed my problems that another doctor missed. Continued to follow me closely during my recovery. I recommend him to my family now for even routine colonoscopies. Office staff was great.
