His bedside manner is excellent. He told us the sex of my first daughter, helped me with the anxiety of losing my second daughter due to stillbirth, and now is helping through my third pregnancy and letting me make the decisions about my care within safety guidelines of course. He makes me feel that I have the ultimate decision making in the care I am receiving and not forcing things on me like previous doctors have done. I feel like I am in total control of my pregnancy and birthing process.

I have been seeing Dr. O'Dear for over 15 years. My two teenage daughters are also patients. Nobody looks forward to going to the gynecologist but he has a way about him that makes you feel so relaxed. I swear, you'll think you're at the eye doctor!

I have always felt like Dr. O'Dear truly cares about his patients. He takes time to answer questions, and listens to what your concerns are. He takes more time than most doctors do with their patients. He is professional and never makes you feel uncomfortable. He is a very good surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

Dr. O'Dear was pretty punctual and seemed knowledgeable, but I went in with a genuine concern about a lump in my breast and he just harped on the importance of birth control and prescribed the shot to me. I felt so ignored and unimportant, it was absurd. He WAS very friendly and personable, but I felt like he didn't take me seriously since I was 21 and a virgin. He just kept talking about birth control and ignored my concerns about the lump in my breast.

Great doctor! Personable, knows his stuff and is very thorough in reviewing any tests. He takes the time to actually talk with me; I don't feel that he cuts time short with me to move on to the next patient. Highly recommend!
