Dr. Borth is amazing. He is kind and understanding, and I was able to get in to see him right away. I never had to wait more than a few minutes in his office. Most importantly, he is an incredible surgeon; my incision is flawless.
Dr Borth is the best surgeon ever. Hes awesome
Excellent surgeon and very personable
Dr Borth was a wonderful doctor. I had to have an emergency appendectomy. He was pleasant and took his time explaining things to me. For my visit to his office for follow up I waited maybe 5 minutes in waiting room and maybe 2 minutes before he came into room. I would recommend him to anyone. He is absolutely wonderful and polite and shows he cares. I rate him a 5. The staff was wonderful also
Dr. Borth is one of the finest Surgeons anyone could ask for. He is prompt, courteous, takes time with you so you understand the the problem and makes you feel secure and safe. You have no fear because you know he will make you well. I've had quite a few surgeries done by Dr. Borth so I know what I'm talking about. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. I've been going to him for 29 years and the proof is in the pudding he's the best. I've never had to wait 45 minutes to see him. If you are looking for a surgeon he's your man. I thank GOD everyday for Dr. Borth.
Good doctor but his wait times really stink. And if he is in a hurry for any reason, he spends hardly no time with you.
I wanted to say that the first time I met Dr. Borth, he did not have a good bedside manner!! He left my mother sitting on the exam table for 1 1/2 hours with a paper top draped over her, with her feet dangling, wondering if she did indeed have cancer. His cold, matter-of-fact attitude did NOT impress me. If it were my choice, my mother would have gone to a different surgeon. She chose not too because of time and money!! That being said, I want to say "Thank you" to Dr. Borth, for the fantastic job he did with my mother's mastectomy, and for the kindness he did show after our initial visit!!! In the end, I am very thankful he did my mother's surgery, and I would certainly recommend him!!! I think he could work on his compassion skills for those horrible times when he has to deliver bad news, though. Not an easy think for anyone, but at least be compassionate!! Thank you for the great job in surgery, and for caring for my mother through it all!! We all have room for improvement, thank you for listening!! Brenda
I took 1/2 vacation day for appt.. that turned into a full vacation day. I waited over 2 1/2 hours before taken to exam room and then another 1/2 hr before he came in. In total, almost 4 hours there!!! He acted like i was stupid, ignored my imput and was quite arrogant. He wants to do a procedure not even associated with my problem; probably because i have good insurance?
After waiting months for my surgery (as my schedule would allow) less then two weeks before, his office called me to reschedule! Now it may take a months again to find a feasible slot for this surgery. Poor planning on his part.
Aside from not recognizing I brought ultrasound scans with me, Borth was late arriving to the hospital the day of the surgery, asked me (for the second time) which breast had the cyst, and then carved out half of my breast for a mere biopsy of a fibroid cyst. If he had arrived on time, the dye they used to locate the cyst probably wouldn't have spread and only the cyst would have been removed for biopsy. I have learned to get a second opinion, if not for anything other than making sure the surgeon of choice is competent before surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
