Two separate office visits. The first one I told him I just didn’t feel good, but didn’t know for sure if it was my stomach. He started to leave, saying he was not ordering any tests! I replied “I didn’t ask you to”. A doctor in the ER suggested I ask my primary care to do a H.I.D.A. Scan. The H.I.D.A. Results showed my gall bladder was only working at 11%. The second time (still wondering why I went back again!), again I didn’t feel good and felt it really was my stomach, losing weight w/o trying. Dr. Yung made me feel like a hypochondriac. Went to a gastro doctor in another town. Had me take a 3+ hour test at the hospital. Results showed Gastro Paresis.

The doctor told me he wasn’t repeating my blood work from 4 years ago when he last saw me and that my thyroid issue was my problem and he wasn’t checking that either. I also told him we have a history of colon cancer in the family on my mother’s side and he said he wasn’t concerned.Also, the lady in medical records is extremely unprofessional and rude. She always has an attitude when you call. She left me a voicemail when I called to get my records sent to a new doctor and told me “Unfortunately, no doctor is going to be interested in your 4 year old records”. She has yet to send them to my new doctor. It’s just a game with this office.

It is unfortunate that patients seldom write reviews for positive experiences. Our visit with Dr. Yung today was phenomenal. He was personable, thorough, and made a cognizant effort to ensure we were all on the same page. He listened to our concerns and adequately explained his treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Yung to everyone and encourage future patients not to let the other reviews discourage them from picking Dr. Yung for their visit!

Wish I had seen this before making my appointment with this doctor. Totally questioning the diagnosis now. His delivery of fairly grim diagnosis was awful, , it started with asking my age and stating 20 years was within normal life expectancy. Yhe explanation and prognosis...I was instructed to Google it. No follow up instructions offered.

He examined my elderly mother and told her she was old and fat and not worthy of treatment of her abdominal discomfort. As a nurse with a doctorate and 30 plus years of caring for patients, I found his conduct absolutely inexcusable. He made her feel worthless. He should not be treatingliving patients.

kenny young of Gastroenterology Specialists just settled a lawsuit for giving a patient hepatitis. If he is your doctor get checked now.
