Was a patient of Dr. Kamel. I have severe IBS and was referred to him. Had me do two upper Endoscopies and wanted a third. I told him I wanted to be on an IBS medicine and he told me there is no such thing. I don't appreciate being lied too. Doctors are supposed to listen to you and help you, not make you feel unworthy of the help you need. I found a better doctor and no longer go to see him anymore. If this happens to you please don't waste a whole year like I did. Seek better help.

Dr. Kamel is very professional and caring. I have no memory of my procedure and he explained the process before and after. I would highly recommend his services.

DR. Kamel is a Great Doctor, however his office girls need some happy pills.

While admitted to Mercy Hospital they sent him to see me. Upon doing a endoscope in the hospital w/ NO anesthesia just 4 shots of Versed which did absolutely NOTHING. He proceeded w/ very tortuous & traumatic procedure even though I was totally awake talking to him & nurses. He then said I needed a colonoscopy in his office but would be mildly sedated (no Versed). Upon arriving to a large waiting game rm there were so many people some were standing & I sent my husband out to the car to wait. Due to experience I will never have either of these procedures again. This was done long before pandemic crisis. HIGHLY unrecommended.

Doing 25-30 procedures a day, how can they not miss something important in someone’s health? I feel like I’m just another person on their to-do list. Not personable. So disappointed in my care.

Dr Kamel has been awesome. His bed side manner is rooted in his personality. He is quick and to the point but once you get to know him he is very personable. He does not mix words tells you the truth

Terrible he needs to learn to read and may be actually look at a patient’s chart before seeing them in the hospital.
