My daughter is now 4, but we started seeing Dr. Girdlestone when she was about 2.5 due to a chipped tooth. It happened on a Saturday, and we weren't yet established patients, but I called and left a message anyway so they could call me first thing on Monday. He personally called me back that same Saturday and had me send him photos of the tooth. He reassured me things were ok for the weekend, but he wanted to see us in the office on Monday. I called that Monday morning and that same afternoon he saw us for an appointment. I was so impressed with this level of service. We've gone to him ever since. Even though we go every 6 months, my kiddo would never let them do a cleaning. Dr.Girdlestone never forced it and said she's doing fine with the quick exams, and that she would get more comfortable with time. Finally, at our appointment today, she let them do the full exam, cleaning, xrays and fluoride! They were all so sweet to her and gave her an extra treasure (toy) when she was all done!

Dr. Girdlestone and his staff are wonderful..they are professional and friendly and have always accommodated us the best they could. My boys are never afraid to go to the dentist with his gentle touch and he explains what he is doing not only to the parents but to your child as well. One of my boys had an accident when he got his first tooth and it was on a Sunday. Not only did Dr. Girdlestone call me back right away he also met me at the office on a Sunday and patched up my sons mouth and calmed me down. How could you ask for a more reliable and caring physician than that? I only wish he performed adult dentistry !

This dentist is only wants to work on sedated children. I wasn't comfortable with that for my child. I was surprised how easy it was to find a dentist that doesn't routinely sedate children, yet keeps them comfortable.

Their staff is very friendly. Dr Girdlestone is very gentle. For example, a couple years ago my son had 6 baby teeth pulled and had no idea that Dr Girdlestone had already pulled them out! My kids love going to the dentist.

Dr Girdlestone is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is very sweet and gentle with my kids, and always willing to explain things in greater detail. I know their dental care is being closely looked after with him as their dentist.

Dr. Girdlestone is exceptional Clinician, Kind & Professional above anyone else in his field! My son was a complicated case and Dr. Girdlestone took him as a patient. We owe so much to him!! He's one in a million. The Best of the Best??????????????
