First positive dentist experience in a long time!

Konikoff on Cedar Rd.has great services, with one exception.  Stacy, in the billing department is either incompetent or dishonest.  On 3 separate occasions, she has provided grossly incorrect costs related to my wife's treatment plan.  She failed to inform us of the costs for a 3D scan, an X-ray, and she also failed to let us know that our dentist dropped out of network with our insurance.  We have always discussed with Konikoff that we only use in-network providers.  End result has been $3,700 out of our pocket above the written estimate.  This is either dishonesty or incompetence on Stacy's part.  On top of this, she ignores phone calls/emails, and if she actually

Dr Field at cedar rd office is the best! I have had several times where I have needed to be seen quickly due to pain , cracked teeth etc, they work hard to fit you in same day when possible. So grateful for Dr.Field and his staff! 5 stars!!!

This was a fantastic dentist visit. They were so patient and professional. I truly appreciated how they treated my daughter with her appointment. Jay, the dental assistant, who did her cleaning was so awesome with her. There was not a unprofessional person that I had met... if you are looking to go to or find a new dentist, this is the place to go. Thank you to Jay and Dr. Marcus Fields for helping my daughter!

I've been mistreated, embarrassed, pressured, shown a complete lack of urgency, and my health has suffered because of it. I was made to wait for months for a simple fix that has now become a huge problem, and even after voicing my concerns I was scheduled for services that not only did I not ask for but didn't even address the problem. I feel like a dollar sign. I feel like they are sandbagging me until they can charge me the most amount of money possible. I feel abused. Now I'm worried that any service I do receive will be intentionally botched in order to take advantage of my pain. No compassion and in humane.

The whole staff are such professionals, Outstanding customer service from the front desk to the check out portion. Ms Georgia took her time to answer all my questions and made me feel at ease! Dentist is awesome!

I highly recommend this dental office. I've been coming here for several years, and everyone is polite,caring and extremely professional.  I just had my two front crowns done by Dr. Bozman and I couldn't be happier with the excellent work she has done.  I've had several procedures done over the years and the entire staff really goes the extra mile to assure my comfort and satisfaction at each visit.

SCAM artists when it comes to billing. Intentionally manipulate young adults by giving them services they KNOW are not covered by insurance. Then they hold the young adult hostage at the billing desk saying they have to pay right then and there. Hello, the insurance hasn't even been billed yet!! Or is it just that you know that you performed unnecessary procedures that the insurance will not cover.... Most likely! Then when confronted about the deceptive billing practices try to claim that you told us about the cost on the phone. Another lie on top of the rest of your lies. Seek dental care elsewhere unless you want to be ripped off by subpar dentists. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB and City of Chesapeake as well.

The hygienist today did such a poor job I complained to a manager and got my teeth cleaned a second time by a different hygienist. If you’re looking for a new dental office and are thinking about this one, maybe pass.

I adore these guys!  I've been going to Dr. David Konikoff  and team for 30 years.  Dr. Konikoff set the tone along time ago.  I consistently receive a warm reception and outstanding service.  I highly recommend them to my friend, family and colleagues.  Excellent customer service - they all know how to put your mind at ease.  I am and have been pleased with my dental care, the services and the people over the years.  Dr. Field is my dentist now and I can't make a suggestion that tops their standard.
