Dr. Lee is by far the most knowledgeable doctor I've met (and I've seen many)! Truly an expert at what he does and you can tell he's doing what he loves.
Dr Lee has been given a gift from God. He is so smart and knowledgeable. He can get things figured out in one visit. I LOVE him.
Dr. Lee rocks. Yes, he does let his fellows do the initial eye exam, and so he comes in a little afterwards, but I would not consider that late. He's also one of a few neuro-opthos in town and so in large demand. The process was time consuming--around 3 hours--and there was a break while he was out of the room for a while, but he was very quick to explain what the two possibilities he saw for my symptoms were. He quizzed his fellows and me on what we thought should happen given the two scenarios and the possible tests vs non-tests--that was amusing for me, and then he told me his decision. All in all it was an interesting visit and I am confident this doctor knows his stuff--got to see his working method with newer doctors, got to see how his mind analyzed the possibilities. Like this doctor a lot. His fellows were all nice and competent. Just expect to spend a good amount of time --in the various waiting rooms before the exam and for the exam itself. Dr. Lee gave me a lot of confidence in his abilities.
We were extremely disappointed with our visit to see Dr. Lee. He walked in 30 minutes late, let his minions do the exam and then came in and talked at us. He never once examined the patient or discussed test results. It was clear that he feels the he is really important and that we should bow down and be thankful that he saw us. I would have preferred for him to just examine the patient.
One of the things that has changed over the years that I dislike is the amount of time (15minutes or less) that the doctor is willing to spends with the patient, and appears to rush the patient from the examining room. Also, the doctor does not accept from patient comments about other physicians, and tries to discredit the patient comments. Finally, prompt follow-up with patient is practically non existent. In-depth consultation with patient is lacking during examining or follow-up. During the earlier years (1990's) things were different.
Dr. Lee is my primary care physician and he's simply wonderful. I've never had a more compassionate doctor with such a wonderful bedside manner. If you need an internist, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Lee.
Three years ago I had cataract surgery on one eye. I was worse off and the surgeon dismissed me with no help. He could not handle that a patient complained as he said he has done 2000 surgeries, perfectly. I was beside myself in grief because my life changed overnight. I became depressed with poor eyesight and stayed at home much of the time. Three other eye docs did not have a clue until I was asked if I would see, Dr. Lee. He asked me if I googled the IOL lens that was placed in my eye. I had not but I had called Lens Mfg. 3 times for information and got nowhere. I was on my own. Dr. Lee called in other eye doctors and I repeated my symptoms. They knew what was wrong. I wish I had seen Dr. Lee right after cataract surgery as this lens could of been removed back then. Now, we are going forward to try and better my eyesight. Love this doctor and his colleagues. Maybe I will get my life back, again.
Dr Lee was very atentive to my questions and needs. He was on time and his staff was friendly and supportive. Felt as if I were part of a team. Easy to locate office. Very clean. Would recommend to family and friends.
WE HAVE WAITED 5 MONTHS TO HAVE THE PAPERS FOR MY MOTHER FILLED OUT BY THIS PHYSICIAN. I HAVE MADE REPEATED PHONE CALLS TO THE OFFICE AND I AM BEING TOLD TO EXPECT A CALL BACK AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED MORE THAN ONE RETURNED PHONE CALL. EVERYONE IS POLITE BUT NOT RESPONDING TO OUR NEEDS. THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF THE STRESS THIS ISSUE IS CAUSING OUR FAMILY.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
