List of Adam Miller Md's Reviews
Outstanding in everything from scheduling to care education and treatment Would recommend them to everyone!
Dr. Miller prepared me well for surgery. Gave important pre-op and post-op expectations. Extremely professional. 2 post op visits have been fantastic and I’m healing great.
Dr. Miller and Staff have always been super accommodating - I absolutely love this place at Beacon!
The worst medical appointment of my life. I am glad my husband was with me in the exam room. Dr. Miller was rude, downright mean, aggressive and intimidating. He performed an entirely inappropriate exam where he walked into the room and grabbed my foot and put it as hard as possible into a dorsiflexed position before looking at the MRI. When I winced in pain he literally threw his hands up and declared in a very aggressive tone that wasn't going to do the exam. Keep in mind the Fellow did a complete and thorough exam before Dr. Miller came in with no problems. The PA did as well. I have new onset achilles tendonitis and a variety of foot issues several years post-bone marrow edema. He then glared at me and asked me how my neck was. Then "how's your back" in a mocking tone. I have no chronic medical conditions and am an athlete, a NASM personal trainer and A Chopra Meditation Coach. I could speculate as to what his irrelevant questions were about but I think they were more about him so it seems something the CEO of Beacon should look into. Maybe Dr. Miller was possibly showing off in front of the Fellow. Maybe he hates older female patients. And he didn't do a real exam, asked no pertinent questions, and did not solve my issue. I was ultimately seen at OSU after this horrible appt at Beacon and diagnosed with tarsal tunnel syndrome and given a cortisone injection By comparison my appt at OSU was a like actually seeing a real doctor. My husband and I literally thought Dr. Miller had the wrong chart the day of my appt with him.. I have never been spoken to like that from a physician. This isn't my first observation that Beacon isn't the same as it was since the private equity buy-out. And just so you know your medical records are a mess. If your EMR has the same info as your patient portal you have big issues. Mine is not correct. I am considering a formal complaint to the Ohio Medical Board as I would assert my patient rights were violated by Dr. Miller. My advice to others would be to steer clear. You do not want the treatment I received. The one star I am forced to give in order to leave this review is for the staff that by all appearances are still trying hard to deliver patient care in spite of Dr. Miller. Dr. Miller should receive no stars and possibly a letter from an attorney.
Dr. Miller was aggressive and rude. Asked many questions that were irrelevant to my problem. which was ACHILLES TENDONITIS AND TENDONITIS OF THE FLEXOR TENDONS. Did not listen to my issues performed an inappropriate exam designed to illicit a painful response. Asked me about "my neck" and "my back" even though I do not have those problems. Asked about drugs I take. I am 60 years old. I am on no psychotropic or pain meds. I am an athlete. My husband was with me in the exam room. I am filing a complaint against him. Do not go to this Doctor. It was so bad we both thought he had the wrong chart. Very intimidating and has caused me a lot of emotional distress. And my foot problem is not solved.
My needs were met and was with great care.
Couldn't be happier about my experience with Dr. Miller. Very professional, caring and honest. Having never broken a bone before NOR having surgery, I was slightly nervous, to say the least. The nurses were SUPER understanding and put my mind at ease. I'd have to say that my foot is back to normal (if not better than it was) and I've resumed to normal activities. I highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone contemplating foot surgery.
Dr. Adam Miller and the staff at Beacon was incredibly professional and compassionate throughout my surgery and post op follow ups! I would highly recommend Beacon for anyone in need of orthopedic care…top notch!
Dr. Miller and his team are amazing!! I had a Metatarsal Joint Fusion on 4/20/22 and was back to work two weeks later! Very little pain after the surgery, everybody at Beacon has been super helpful, friendly and explained each detail of surgery and recovery with great patience. So happy to be a Beacon patient!
Performed surgery on my left foot and has helped me feel better. Very caring and understanding. Highly recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
