Anil Verma's Online Review Report Card

I've been going to Dr. Verma since 2016 and am quite pleased with the outstanding medical care and professional service.  In 2016, my primary care physician had just retired and I was in need on a new primary care doctor.  Fortunately, I was able to find Dr. Verma's office through online searches.  The office is clean and conveniently located, and his staff is friendly, helpful, and medically competent.  Most importantly, Dr. Verma is an outstanding physician.  He has addressed a wide range of my medical needs ranging from annual physicals to pre-surgery physical fitness clearance work-ups and vaccinations, to seasonal allergy issues (and the occasional cold or flu symptom).  Based on my positive experiences with the office, I highly recommend Dr. Verma.

I have seen Dr Anil Verma on two occassions a week apart - I didn't get any help from him at all He is a general practitioner but claims he is pulmonologist but he didn't treat my pulmonology problem at all He charges at a specialists rate but he is simply a quack He charged me $250 for two visits my copayment would have been $60 and  I am having hard time getting back $190 from his office. I am in the process of reporting him to the Virginia Medical Board

Very patient in explaining the procedure he would have to perform. Very reassuring and gentle in his manner

I've been coming to Dr. Verma for a few years now. He's always been very helpful and kind. My wife had been coming to him for years until I finally switched doctors and started using him. I'm glad I did. His assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Excellent. Dr.Verma and his staff! He performed a procedure on my leg that probably should of been done before I even saw him. But he got me in quickly, and worked his magic!!

I had my first (& only, thus far) appointment with Dr. Verma last month. His staff & him are very professional.

Very caring and knowledge. I had a very short waiting time and he took the time to listen to me. His staff was efficient and courteous. Highly recommend!

You should probably look elsewhere. I made an appointment to have what was a basic upper respiratory issue checked out. There was no wait, because there were no other patients there. When I get in to see the doctor, he barely says anything to interact with me and provide any feedback. Instead he puts me on what seemed to be a mist treatment and left the room for 10 minutes. He never explained what it was, or that it would cost me $110 ($60 after insurance thankfully). But whatever, I got my prescription and got out of there. This was October of 2016. Fast forward to the beginning of January 2018 when I get a statement for that visit, so almost 15 months later. I'm wondering why I'm getting a statement now and figuring it must be a mistake. I didn't get around to looking back through bank statements to see if I had paid this bill a year ago or not in time for the office to call me a couple of weeks later demanding payment or they'll take me to collections. I told the incredibly rude woman on the phone that I had received this statement for a visit 15 months prior and wanted to make sure it hadn't already been paid. She proceeded to continually interrupt me and told me they had sent me statements every 4 months to the same address and had received no payment, and that she has electronic proof of this right in front of her (highly unlikely that she had my information right in front of her since I was actually returning the call from before). She tells me if they don't receive payment in one week they're taking me to collections and that will hurt my credit. I tell her this type of behavior will hurt their business, and she actually says to me "I don't care". After that conversation, I look at the bill, and the insurance adjustments were made on September 2017 - a full 11 months after the visit. They never submitted the claim to the insurance company until just recently, so she flat out lied to me about sending these statements every 4 months. Bottom line, this is a completely disorganized small time operation who add unnecessary services to jack up their financial intake and whose administrative staff is incompetent and rude. I highly recommend you go elsewhere.
