List of Deborah Fritz Md's Reviews
Just left my appointment with Dr. Fritz and I am very discouraged and offended. She decided that I needed to watch my diet, was judgmental that I said that I have at least one white claw with my meal most nights, and asked why I was even a stay-at-home mom. Despite me having a list of problems that matched up with what she was saying, she was completely dismissive deciding that it was just my diet and acting like I was drinking too much. At the end of the visit, she asked me “Do you have any questions?” Before I could even answer, she answered for me saying, “Probably not.” I wish I had read her reviews before I even wasted my time making an appointment with her. She shouldn’t even be allowed to practice. She’s way too judgemental and dismissive. Go to someone else. Don’t waste your time.
Left the office in tears. Worst doctor I've ever been to. Constantly interrupted me, dismissed my concerns and my symptoms, did absolutely nothing for me other than collect my copay and tell me as a wife and mother that I'm "doing too much." I have never been so offended in my life. She talked more politely to her DOG that was in the exam room with us.
When I first starting seeing Dr Fritz she and her staff where nice and somewhat listened to my concerns. Then I was going every 6 months for her to tell me to lose weight. I was having chronic Achilles tendinitis, related to psoriatic arthritis but she never did any tests or X-rays. She gave me a brochure for overeaters anonymous instead. That was the last time I ever went to her. If she would have done X-rays, she would have seen I had a bone spur on my heel causing the tendinitis. I didn’t know this until I ruptured my tendon playing softball. I could have had a less traumatic surgery and actually had my problem treated. She is so dismissive and unless you are skinny and ride your bike to work then she will treat you poorly and dismiss you
the Dr isn't really connected to her patients. Just pushed a pre printed prescription to me, and suggested lab work be done, never confirmed receipt of lab work. I had to call and ask for explanation of the lab work and was given none. Advised to keep taking medication however didn't send in a refill prescription. Office staff unprofessional and didn't allow my request to speak to the DR.
I called yesterday to see if we could do the virtual visit for my upcoming visit on Monday.(I live about 40 miles away) I have an almost empty gas tank ( gas is $4.79 gal) and unexpected bills coming up. I expressed this situation and was told by the lady who answered the phone she would check with Dr Fritz and call me back. When she returned my call she said yes we could do virtual but Dr Fritz told her to tell me that next visit it didn’t matter how much gas cost I would have to come in. That floored me. It could have been expressed in a much kinder manner. Like “we do need to really see you next visit” and left it at that instead of making me feel bad. I’m a senior on a fixed income. I cancelled Monday’s appointment and will never go back.
15 minutes late and charged me for a full appointment. She talked into her voice to text device more than she talked to me (including telling my diagnosis to the device first.) Charged be $200 for a diagnosis and then refused to treat me for it. Unless you're in her age bracket, she probably won't care about you; that's my guess.
Didn’t take the time to learn about her patient before throwing out ideas such as yoga, dieting and less stress. She seemed to be annoyed at my questions. No online capabilities to pay your bill. No ability to see your medical results online. You just call to get them as they didn’t call to give me medical results, I asked for a copy and they had to be mailed. Their office is living in the non-tech age, creates delays.
Dr. Fritz's office assured me that she accepts my insurance. When I arrived, the paperwork they asked me to sign was ENTIRELY about money, including administrative fees not covered by any insurance. I'm truly sorry if this doctor is struggling to pay her country club dues; but I decided to leave, thinking her priorities seem askew. She may be an excellent rheumatologist.
By far one of the rudest Dr's I've ever been to. Like other comments, dismissed all my concerns, dismissed my bloodwork, preached to me about religion, vaccines, lifestyle etc. Walked me out and said "well there's nothing I can do for you"... I'm angry my primary dr even recommended her. Insanity.
I drove about a hour and a half to be fat shamed and pay $75.00. My main doctor unfortunately referred me. I thought the office needed some updates and a good cleaning. If your comfortable being in a medical facility with a dog walking around freely not really trained this would be the place. I love dogs but when I'm at a place where I could possibly be doing blood work I don't wanna see dog treats the counter where that stuff sets usually. I'm quite well aware of my weight problem and my previous rheumatologist would encourage weight loss but not make me feel like it's the main issue. (They unfortunately closed their office) I've never had doctor tell me for my height I should be 140lbs and laugh as they're telling me this. I just wouldn't reccomend coming here what so ever. Like what alot of people said rude and feeling ignored. I really wish I would have read the reviews before I went. Just wow...what a waste.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
