I was diagnosed February 2004 with Breast Cancer by Dr. Runk. She saved my life as well. She started talking about Chemo and radiation and it went in one ear and out the other with shock. I am so glad that she chose that treatment for me, now 18 years later I am still alive and I see her once a year. Thank you Dr. Runk from your second Best friend in the world

Dr. Runk is by far the best surgeon I’ve consulted with during a very difficult and fearful time. She made everything easy to understand without oversimplifying and also demonstrated unparalleled compassion and experience. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Definitely 5 stars plus. Dr.Runk is not only an amazing doctor /surgeon but an amazing person. She is professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and beyond the most caring individual I have ever known . She is the reason I am a cancer survivor ., I could never thank her enough for all she had done for me and still does. I am so fortunate to be a patient in her practice . After being informed, by a radiologist, that my mother had breast cancer, I took my 89-year-old mother to see Dr. Runk in 2014. Following a non-diagnostic result of a fine needle aspiration, Dr. Runk wanted my mother to have a biopsy and mentioned cancer treatments. Again, my mom was 89 at the time. Dr. Runk was rude and dismissive of my questions and concerns, and did not consider that my mom's condition was a result of trauma from a recent car accident. My mother and I made the decision to not proceed with Dr. Runk's advice, which angered Dr. Runk even more. Mom is now 96 and has no regrets about her decision not to follow Dr. Runk's advice that was based on non-diagnostic test results. Mom is a human being, not a guinea pig for science. Bottom line: Make an informed decision based on facts, not non-diagnostic test results.

Dr. Runk is an excellent doctor who explains your diagnosis and treatment clearly and thoroughly, has a caring demeanor, and answers all questions you may have. Staff is excellent as well.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at Cincinnati Breast Surgeons because the employees are always courteous and helpful. When asking questions I never leave with an unanswered question. My wait is never long. Doctor Runk is very courteous and listens to whatever I have to say attentively and she and staff are so funny sometimes.
