This Dr. is exceptional! She was kind, personable, down to earth, while st the same time, 100% professional, obviously skilled, and comprehensive in her examination. She gave me whatever amount of time I needed and was quite explanatory when answering my question! I highly recommend her!

Please be aware that if you have a major medical issue with your eyes, you need an opthamologist -- not an optometrist! Dr. Cartwright is a optometrist, who training does not involve the years required by an MD in opthamology. When Dr. Joshua Sands, my previous opthamologist at CEI, retired, I was sent to Dr. Cartwright, naturally assuming that she had the same training. Dr. Sands (years ago) diagnosed me with a dry eye condition, so I have prescription drops. But last summer, I lost vision in one eye and had great pain in that eye. But Cartwright insisted all I had was dry eye. A week later, my vision in that eye was only shapes and light -- terrifying! I called CEI, but they wouldn't see me, so I wound up in ER. At Apex Vision, Dr. Leon Reid, a bona fide opthamologist, diagnosed glaucoma. Thank God, he saved my vision, though it's impaired. CEI has become a factory since it changed hands a few years ago. STAY AWAY!

Didn't lesson patient and gave too strong eyeglass prescription. I went back to correct and again wrong one. I don't recommend her services.
