List of Elliot M. Kirstein's Reviews
I have to say in the 2 years Ive been going it has been a pleasure and good exspericnace. Dr Kirstein has went beyond a few times for myself and really puts his all into it. i will be moving on to another doctor due to location and wish I could continue to see Dr K but the drive is too far. If i move closer I will return for sure.
Dr. Kirstein early diagnosed wet macular degeneration, and sent me immediately to Dr. Daniel Miller at CEI for confirmation and treatment. Thanks to his early diagnosis, Dr. Miller began immediate injections that will most likely save my vision. I’m very thankful.
I have been going to Dr. Elliot Kirstein at Harpers point Eye Associates for several years for Eye exams, but I will not be going back because of an issue I had last year. Evidently he noticed some irregularity in my eyes. Instead of telling me that he called two other people into the room and they proceeded to whisper & discuss me while looking at the computer screen. So rude and unprofessional! When they called this week to schedule my annual exam I relayed the story to them and told them I won’t be coming back because of it. Instead of apologizing and saying they would let him know about the problem, the woman simply said OK we’ll throw away your file! More rudeness! Plus my new doctor may need to refer to my old files to assess the progression of an eye problem. I just wanted to warn others that might be considering going to him for eye care. Definitely don’t recommend them

So Wednesday I was able to officially see evenly out of both eyes for the first time in a very long time due to a lasik procedure gone bad. It was so surreal to see clearly at the same time that I had a hard time getting real understandable words out to people at times. Everything is clearer and brighter and I am just so happy to have found an amazing Dr who has walked me through this process the past few years. Thank you honestly isn't enough. The "lots of money" isn't enough. To me, what he did to help make my eyes do what they're supposed to do again is beyond my ability to adequately express into words. So I will with tears of joy, a full heart and a PSA to tell you go to Dr Alex Gibberman at Harpers Point Eye Associates. He helped me when 3 optometrists, 2 ophthalmologists and 5 specialists couldn't or wouldn't do for me. He's worth going to. Best Dr ever!
Dr. Gibberman has been my eye doctor for 2 years. He always explains every thing that he is doing and is very knowledgeable. Very professional. The ounce staff is nice and friendly as well. They also have Saturday hours which makes it much easier when you have a busy work schedule.
I have been going to Dr. Kirstein and Harpers Point for over 25 years. Excellent and professional treatment. I would never think of going anywhere else.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kirstein since 1988. I just hope he never retires! This is a well run office with top notch doctors.
Don't walk away--RUN! I had made an appointment for the office they had in Norwood only to find out when I arrived that the Dr. I wanted had retired. I ended up being seen by Dr. Tiffany Young, as her last appointment of the day. They were running over an hour late by the time my exam started, which can happen to anyone. But she was in a major, major rush and I never had confidence in the prescription and didn't try to get it filled before moving to Florida. The dilating drug was way too strong despite my asking for the weakest one she could give me. My eyes were severely dilated for over 36 hours afterwards. Lucky I didn't have to go to work the next day. I only recently noticed, when I tried to get the prescription filled for new lenses, that there is no valid date on the paper. The icing on the cake was when I got the bill for $190. Apparently the insurance company denied the claim because it was submitted with the wrong date of birth. My opinion--completely incompetent.
Best place to obtain healthy eye care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
