I went to Dr.Bruns for help finding pain management for a 6cm tumor filling my uterus from adenomyosis. This caused me excruciating labor like pains on a monthly basis. I told him upfont the many meds I had tried for this including oxycodone all with NO relief. Hence why I was going to a specialist. I needed to figure out a med this tumor would respond to before going to GA for a procedure to cut off the blood supply to it. Well he totally dropped the ball with me prescribing weak muscle relaxers and antiinflammatories. This is basically LABOR pain NSAIDS arent going to work. Needless to say I never found relief. Now im in GA post procedure pains been a 8 all night long GA dr. Upped my meds 2 oxycodone and 1 meloxicam still no relief heading into the office as I type this for a pain shot. Oh I forgot to mention I called his office one day in so much pain (10) I was crying on the phone they said they'd call me back that was at 3pm that day they didnt call back until 11am the next day. I would NEVER reccomend this office.

He clearly didnt take me seriously prescribing weak muscle relaxers and antiinflammatories. This is basically LABOR pain NSAIDS arent going to work. He never helped me at all. Why are you a pain management dr. If your not going to help ppl with pain!!!! Pain was a 10 one day I called crying asking what to take they didnt return my call until the next day! How can they treat ppl like this?! And all he suggested to use was meloxicam. Seriously?! My pain was a constant 8 after my procedure on my tumor and they gave me morphine, labor pain meds, and a pain shot before I left. He should be thrown in jail for letting ppl suffer so much. Awful doctor.

Terrible doctor. Does not listen. Does not care. Does not manage pain. Has rude staff. Avoid at all costs!

Not so good you try to talk to him he's looking at his computer HotSchedules I think 4 needles and my back only lasted 3 days head pain again the job she does they're very expensive I think that's why he in the business money he'll talk to you for about 10 minutes and then he's out the door I did find another doctor finally got some relief of pain lots of luck to you my friend if you're reading this

My experience with Dr. Bruns has been excellent. He is compassionate, caring, and he listens to his patients. His skills are first class. I recommend him highly.

This man may be good at his Profession however he lacks people skills he has made my life a living hell by labeling my as a person who does drugs now every doctor I see treats me very differently.You know I can look at his ratings on his page but he can accuse me of something like this with a one time visit I didn’t get a chance to talk to him and he doesn’t know me but my family and church friends do and if we were in court he could hear how much he has hurt my life and what kind of person I really am.This man didn’t want to hear anything I had to say all he said was one and you’re done very angrily and very mean I felt very threatened by him being in the small room with him . I have worked for Tri-Health for 23 years as a pharmacy technician as well I was highly Regarded and respected in my field as well and to be labeled like this is very hard for me to Tolerate. Dr.James R Bruns while I understand your Position do you know it’s possible that you made a mistake this time.

One of the best doctors in this area. He is very caring and helpful. Wonderful bedside manner. He cares and the epidural injections help.

I have been very happy with the procedures he has done on me. He is very polite, friendly and great bed side manner. Staff are very professional and friendly.
