List of Kevin W. Eggerman Md's Reviews
This guy forced me to be on a medication that caused irreversible metabolism damage for many years. My new psychiatrist says Eggerman has poor judgment. He has done so much awful stuff to me. He once cut one of my meds in half which landed me in a psych ward for a week. THOUSANDS of dollars... and he wouldn't even apologize. Wouldn't even make eye contact. He's extremely condescending too. He has made fun of me for being manic. His policy that if you need to emergency call him on the weekend it'll cost $65, is RIDICULOUS and exploitative. He has had phone appointments with me where he is loading his car with stuff as he's "assessing" me. He's double-billed me several times, too. STAY AWAY.
I've been going to Dr Eggerman for years. He is a very good Psychiatrist. If you understand what that means. He is trained to find out how to help you medically. He is NOT a therapist and will tell you that. Thanks for all of the help. Would recommend Dr Eggerman to anyone with Depression or other mental health needs.
He is a very kind and knowledgeable doctor.
I’ve seen Dr Eggerman since I was 16 years old. I was very very depressed and anxious etc. He is the one doctor who has been on my side since day one! I trust no one else with my mental health! I’m 34 now and honestly that is thanks to his help! I can not recommend Him enough!
I reported him to the medical board ast.He is not a good person. If your mental health deteriorates, he will find a reason it's your fault, and refuse to change anything. He had me on 2 meds that did the same thing which made it almost impossible to eat and sleep for over a year. His response at the last appointment I had with him before getting a competent psychiatrist was 'if you're still not sleeping, then we're out of options.'With a new psychiatrist, I have gone from 3 hours of sleep a night to 7 on average, and I am eating 3 to 4 solid meals each day instead of protien drinks. He kept me in a state of survival for years and almost ruined my career.
Dr. Eggerman is a great Doc. I have taken many patients to see him and he's always been great with them. He's no nonsense and cut to the chase but I like that. Don't be late!
Dr. Eggerman is great! Very easy to talk to and shows comfort and compassion. I have had a traumatizing adult life and he was there to help pick up the pieces.
Did not receive help
My husband saw him once. He diagnosed him and gave him meds. The pharmacy had to contact them every month for his prescription because it was never sent in. He’d be going a few days without it. He called and asked if Dr. E wanted him to come in when everyone but him had a nasty stomach bug and he was told not to come, so he didn’t show up the next day. He tried to charge us 70 for that appointment so I called and paid for the original apt and she said she’d talk to him and handle the missed apt. Then his office didn’t respond to our pharmacy a few days later. I called and left three messages over the course of almost two weeks and got no reply so we went to our PCP. He was absolutely floored that my husband was left without his meds, ghosted by a doctor and didn’t even know his sub category for the diagnosis. The PCP wrote a prescription for the year and called it a day. So much easier. My husband actually really liked Dr. E (my husband is a skip to the point person) and was completely confused by the mess that happened.
Just a pill pusher. He has no desire to talk to his patients, just medicate them. Terrible

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
