This place used to get very high ratings from me. But lately I am considering using another facility. Not all of the staff is lazy but there are some who have no business being in this place. The only way to get things resolved is to complain to the management and there times when they are not paying attention to the complaints. Perhaps they getting fed up too. One can tell the place is going downhill because of the fast turnover of employees.Sensoredjr

The staff is personable, patient, and attentive. The residents are friendly and sociable. Feels like a family. They are currently in the process of needed renovations. My loved one didn't think that she wanted to go to an assisted living community. She is very happy here! I'm do glad that we found this gem.

Today we were blessed with a wonderful family visit with my mom at Scarlet Oaks. My sister and I arrived around 2:00 pm to get Mom's room ready for her surprise visit with her two sons who were arriving from Lexington and Florida! Larissa greeted us at the door and helped us organize a place for a Larosa's pizza party. Joanne and Gerry also got into the discussion and it felt oh so comfortable. We visited with Mom in her room and then walked to the dining room in the mansion. Since we had not toured the facility because Mom was admitted during COVID, we were stunned by the beauty of the exquisite woodworking and beautiful fireplaces. The large table allowed us to sit safely together and enjoy a visit we all needed. We even watched giant snowflakes fly outside the windows. Everyone parted with a happy heart.

Scarlet oaks is a beautiful campus to bring your loved one. Staff is very caring , helpful and work together to take care of your loved one. Every single staff member from the nursing to food services and housekeeping work to make sure there is everything for your loved one! The newly remodeled therapy gym is top notch I would recommend bringing you loved one!

I very much enjoy working at Scarlet Oaks. I love working with the team and helping the residents and families. It is a great working environment and I gained a lot from my experience under the leadership of the management.

Scarlet Oaks has been absolutely amazing to my father and our family! He was neglected and abused at a different nursing home in Cincinnati and when we made the decision to switch Scarlet Oak’s was at the top of my list. Kelly Jackson made the transition so easy for my father. He’s been a great support for our family thoughout this whole process. We’ve even be allowed a few visits already (with Covid restrictions) and my father seems to be improving everyday.It’s amazing how well he has improved with the correct care.I would recommend Scarlet Oak’s to anyone looking for quality care for their elderly family members.

My mother was admitted the room was disgusting with feces on the toilet, urine on the wall, poor treatment from aides and nursing staff who were not well educated in how to provide appropriate care for normal rehabiliation. Their bedside manners were poor in most cases with excuses of why things happened and how they want to help make the patient comfortable . Meals nor medicine have been provided timely.Leadership within the facility has been lacking to ensure appropriate care is in place to and nursing staff has actually gotten worse in providing the appropriate medical attention. Will continue to seek the necessary care to ensure her medical well being.
