Shaoming Huang Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr.Huang for 15 years.My wife and daughter also see him.He always knows all the details and remembers all of us including grandkids.He is very thorough and really answers all your questions.Could not ask for a nicer doctor!

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Huang's for about 15 years. He has become more than a doctor to us, he is a great friend. My husband started out on dialysis and was fortunate enough to get a kidney 10 years ago. I totally believe that Dr. Huang is majorly responsible for my husband being here today. He is always so kind and caring and asks where I am if I am not with my husband at his appointment. My husband's transplant experience has been nothing but positive, and we will be eternally grateful to the family of the donor kidney my husband received. We have always trusted Dr. Huang and the choices he has made where my husband's health is concerned. I would say to anyone who needs a nephrologist to see Dr. Huang, you won't be sorry.

Dr. Huang is without doubt, one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever known. He has cared for my 85 year old father through several critical illnesses. To say he goes above and beyond is faint praise. Rarely have I encountered a doctor of his caliber. When my Dad was hospitalized he saw him every day, always making sure the family was informed. If it weren't for Dr. Huang, my Dad would not have had the quality of life he has enjoyed for the last year. My family will never forget his loving care he provided. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He deserves many more than 5 stars!!!

I am surprised there aren't more reviews for Dr. Huang. I have been struggling with high blood pressure and hypokalemia for YEARS! At one point I was taking 5 medications to try to control my blood pressure and had to take a prescription medication for potassium. The doctor I had at that time never investigated any further. Just take these pills. Oh, and now more pills to care for the side effects. The first day I saw Dr. Huang he diagnosed my condition but followed up with tests to be sure. Yes, he was correct. My primary care missed this as did my endocrinologist. I wish I had found Dr. Huang years ago. Be patient with his office staff if your experience isn't 5 star. Dr. Huang is worth more than 5 stars! Knowledgeable, kind, attentive and he personally returns calls to explain test reports or a change in care. He's always been on time. No sitting for hours in the waiting room. He takes the time to explain what is happening with your body and never rushes. He always asks how I am feeling and we sit together looking at his computer so he can show me what the tests have shown him. His nurse Julie is also awesome. You won't be disappointed with this doctor. He is the best!

Excellent doctor. He diagnosed my problem on the first visit and confirmed with tests. He was recommended to me by a nurse who knows him and his work. He is very patient and caring, always asks how I'm feeling and gives plenty of time for questions. He has always been on time for office visits. He calls personally to discuss test results and explain plan of care. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Huang and his nurse Julie.

I have been a patient of Dr. Huang for over 15 yrs. He is a WONDERFUL doctor ~ very attentive, listens to me regarding any issue that may or may not be impacting my health, very friendly and often makes me laugh before my visit ends. Excellent 'bed-side' manners. His nurse Julie is the BEST nurse ever! I would recommend Dr. Huang to anyone who is experiencing renal problems.

1st appt with Dr. Huang was terrific. He was on time, attentive & caring, took many notes & asked many questions, looked me in the eye and didn't just type in his computer. When I left I was satisfied with the care. On my follow up appt I was concerned as he didn't seem to know why I was there. He seemed distracted. Afterward he instructed his assistant to schedule a test. She had no idea what to do. Now I have a big test scheduled & I think it's wrong. Staff is horribly unfriendly & inept.

I have been going with my father to his doctor appointments for a few years now. Dr. Huang is not only very knowledgeable and informative, he has awesome bedside manners. Dad has been in and out of the hospital the last year, and Dr. Huang comes to see him everyday until he is released. My family has grown very fond of Dr. Huang.

Although a very busy doctor and can be hard to reach, he is an outstanding nephrologist and has my trust and confidence.
