Dr Burwinkel is very informative of protocols. Have a sheet which I have been following each month. Love that he is down to earth and taking the time to talk to you. Also reads my list of questions and answers them when I have them. Very honest person. Very soft spoken, patient and calm Not sure if he gave correct timing for shot though was my only concern. We failed all IUI cycles but not his fault since it was low chances of conception. His office in West Chester is so calm and welcoming.

I recommend him to ppl who want to embark their fertility journey.

My husband and I have been trying to have children for several years. We took some fertility testing and got referred to IRH. We thought of trying a few low tech treatments and started with a few IUI. Unfortunately we have failed all 4 IUI cycles. I do not blame it on Burwinkel’s incompetence although I am concerned that timing for trigger shot may be off. Also the fact that you have to ask the questions and figure your next route. I am sure the doctors are great at all the high tech treatments, but my husband and I can’t afford to do them right now. Dr B genuinely cares about their patients. Love his bedside manner, knowledge, and expertise. Dr B is very informative of protocols. Have a sheet which I have been following each month. Also finds ways to save cost on medication. IRH location up north in West Chester is great. One of Dr B’s nurse Erika is friendly to me. Office is so small and very quiet. Feel like I get more attention up there. No procedures done there though. Rookwood location is pretty but kind of intimidating. Not much attention as everyone seems rushed down there. Nurses are kind of snooty. I recommend him to ppl who are trying to conceive and want to embark their fertility journey.

The whole office is so kind! Dr. Burwinkel answered all our questions and seemed like he genuinely cared for us and helping us get pregnant. He did our egg retrieval and transfer for us and we really enjoyed our experience with him.

Awesome Dr

We were seeing another Dr at the practice, but had to see Dr Burwinkel on an early Monday morning to confirm a miscarriage over the weekend. This man lacked people/communication skills beyond comprehension. Obviously we were very upset at this moment, as this was our 2nd in a row. Of course we were looking/wanting answers and asking questions like any other couple would. He then proceeded to give us history lessons on equipment and practices. Insensitive & careless

Even though I have not yet successfully carried to term under Dr. Burwinkel's care, I've been a patient long enough to feel confident in rating the quality of care I've received. Firstly, his staff - nurses Tara and Maria at the Rockwood office have some of the gentlest blood draws I've ever seen and they genuinely seem to care about what's going on in my treatments even if it's unrelated to what they're doing at the time or I've seen a different nurse that day - they'll still stop for a few minutes to ask how I'm doing. I dont feel like "just another chart" when I talk with them. The new receptionist at the Rockwood office (I haven't caught her name yet) is so wonderfully efficient - I walk in and she has me checked in before I even reach the desk. A relief on some of the days I'm so flustered and emotional that I can barely remember my own name. Rarely is Dr. B late for an appointment - like most doctors, there can be unanticipated emergencies throughout the day that throw off the scheduling, but he's typically on time (if not early). Regarding actual treatment, I had one chemical pregnancy and one miscarriage while under Dr. B's care, along with a current pregnancy outcome TBD. Throughout each step of treatment he has been able to provide sound reasoning for each treatment option every step of the way. Each suggestion has been backed up by research or experience and he has never gone gung-ho into treatment without careful consideration of risks vs benefits. He has never sugar coated my situation or the risks of certain types of treatment, but has always been kind in discussing what these mean for my future fertility options. As for his manner and approach, it might not be for everyone. However, he's shown nothing but empathy and compassion - in some cases, he's been more therapeutic to talk to about my fertility situation than my actual therapist!

He helped me years ago to get prepaid with my miracle baby it was an success I'm most definitely going back to him

He's been nothing but kind to me during my current situation. He is the right mix of compassionate and honest. I appreciate his bed side manner endlessly.

Dr. Burwinkel is a wonderful doctor! He performed my surgery almost two years ago and it was just perfect, and a recovery was amazingly fast and easy! Now we have the most beautiful baby girl ever!!!! Thank you, Dr. Burwinkel!!!!
