He and his staff are excellent! He has an exceptional approach, and looks at the patient as a person, not just a body part. His approach is outstanding - he listens, has patience and has a great sense of humor. Plus - he can give a cortisone shot without pain! (At least to me) I refer everyone to him. The best!

After visiting two other orthopedists, I finally found the right physician. Dr Kiefhaber was much more thorough with my exam and evaluation. He carefully listened to me and fully explained my options for treatment. My thumb is better and I will follow-up for further treatment with Dr Kiefhaber.

Dr. Kiefhaber and his staff are not only skilled clinicians, they are also truly delightful. It's rare to say I had fun at a doctor's appointment but that true here. They make all the pain go away with their joyous attitudes. Thank you so very much.

Awful experience! After being sent to him for carpal tunnel surgery, not only did he not listen to me or my primary doctor, instead of doing the surgery I was sent for, he gave me a shot instead which caused a blood clot in my arm!! Not only did they blow me off when I called in the office in excruciating pain once presented with the fact that his negligence caused the clot, they were rude, condescending and basically called me a liar! Do not see this doctor, he is in to much of a hurry to see as many patients as possible and filling his pockets instead of taking the time to take care of you!

Excellent surgical technician with a great bedside manner! He performed my bilateral carpal tunnel release, (both at the same time), 2 years ago with immediate relief of all symptoms. I was back to light activity in a couple of days and full unrestricted activity within 6 weeks including splitting wood. I only wish I would have seen him 20 years ago!

DOCTOR... I have been with Dr. Thomas Kiefhaber for many hand, wrist and most recently an Ulnar Nerve surgery at my Elbow... over the last 10+ years. I can't imagine a better surgeon for these types of procedures. And know what else he and his staff have the audacity to do... they listen to what the patient has to say and I truly feel they care about me as an individual person!!! Even my son and daughter complement Dr. K on his interaction with them when he talks with them after my surgery.
