‘Front line’ staff on phone are poor at conveying that this Practice even wants patients to schedule an appointment 😂 And, even when you do get scheduled, you will NOT see a Dermatologist; only an assistant - even if you were a long time patient but had the impertinence to leave the area for a few years. Too much demand and not enough Docs in this field, I guess. As I write this, staff is scheduling in July. And, even though I was told they, ‘Have cancellations all the time’, I was also informed that, ‘We do not make a list of patients to call’ who are willing to fill an appointment that has been cancelled in the short term. But; ‘You can call us back to see if there have been any cancellations.’ Not likely.
Good luck getting in. I’ve gone to this office my whole life. Yet when it’s an emergency & you really need to see your doctor they turn you away.. I will be looking for a more reliable office.
I like Dr. Pickup because she is very thorough and explains all of my spots and bumps to my satisfaction. She is open and friendly, and easy to talk to. I've been seeing her for several years. Her staff, for the most part, are just as friendly and open. The practice is well-run.
I found her to be rude by the comment she made to me and cocky. She talks to fast and just wants to be done with you. I like her staff..very friendly!
I visited the Greater Cincinnati Pathology for some dermatology work. The Doctor froze a skin growth on my left baby finger and the growth never disappeared. I also had a growth on my nose. She submitted it as a surgery and in fact it was not. She did not do surgery to my nose. She took a raiser- blade to my nose and left a big ugly whole on my face. I have to look at this everyday for the rest of my life. This was very unprofessional and she should have accessed the issue better. I trusted her not to scar me and she said it would be minimal scarring. I trusted her as a professional and now I am scarred for life.
A complete waste of time! I've been to see her twice. She seemed to be in a hurry both times. She was not friendly and did not know what the Skin condition was above my ankle and suggested I see a Podiatrist. Thankfully I had insurance and they paid for absolutely nothing on this last visit. Won't be going back
Although Dr.Pickup is nice I feel l was way overcharged on the Botox l got on my last visit. My goodness she put some between my eyes ,didn't bother to get the few wrinkles remaining toward the bridge of my nose (which really is noticeable) she got the corners of my eyes and 2 qwick tweaks on the corners of my mouth (l don't think she put anything on the mouth area to be honest! ) l went out to pay my bill...... $800. !!!! I took me a while to save that money and l feel as though
Beware. Dr. Pickup, while very nice, completely ignored what another doctor diagnosed as a melanoma after I specifically inquired about a particular mole. I consistently had horrible reactions (blistering, oozing, bright red, warm to the touch & ridiculous itching) each time they treated an area. After undergoing exhaustive allergy testing, it was determined that I'm allergic to Neosporin! That never occurred to her. Her office used Neosporin on me 2 more times after my chart being flagged.
Dr. Pickup and her team are true professionals. My wife and I have been truly impressed by this class act doctor and practice. Thank you! Lauren and Dan
Super nice lady but she seems rushed and the constant chatter between her and staff via her headset made me feel I wasn't receiving her full attention. Skin check consisted of me standing up and turning around a couple of feet away from her. She wanted to punch biopsy a weird lump I had, I declined, later found out it was a sebaceous cyst. Had a close friend see her regarding a rash, she wanted to punch biopsy that as well. Nice and personable but she did not gain my confidence.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
