She definitely shows compassion and respect to her patients. I've been a patient of hers for many years.I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a primary care physician. Dr.Cottongim treats and speaks her patients with concern and compassion. I'm glad she's my doctor.

Dr. Cottongim has been my primary doctor for 7 years now and she is wonderful ! She treats me with respect and shows sincere compassion . She speaks to me more like a friend than a doctor. I trust her totally with my well being. She was recommended to me by a close friend and I highly recommend her to everyone I know who is in need of a professional , friendly and honest health provider . She is simply the best Dr I have ever had !

I was given a life-changing diagnosis on the phone BY A NURSE with no counseling as to what I am supposed to do with this diagnosis. The doctor never returned my calls and my questions were hypothetically relayed to her by the nurses who would then relay the answers to me, except they did not even talk to the doctor in my opinion since they were refering to her as a "he". The doctor was very rushed during my first visit and did not answer my questions and seemed annoyed that I was actually asking questions, then I had to schedule another $130 appointment to actually get to talk to her, since she would not return any calls! The nurses did not provide the needed blood sugar monitoring device when I was asking for one and I had to visit twice in one week to get it! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who wants to be treated like a human being and not given the run-around, this was the worst doctor experience in my life!

I liked that she really listened and took the time to really dig and see what was going on. I also liked that she listened to what i felt like was going on and what treatment i was interested in and considered it as a valid option to check into.
