Dr. Sammarco ís one of the most skilled foot and ankle surgeons in the Cincinnati area. Dr.Sammarco performed a corrective and exploratory surgery in 2022. Dr.Sammarco discovered that my medial nerve had been cut and a neuroma had formed. I have been in severe pain, but was told by the podiatrist I was not a candidate for him to do surgery again. That surgery was at UC WC in Sept of 2017. Im now 3 post op recovery for 6 weeks, in a cast, permanent nerve damage. I highly recommend Dr. Sammarco because most surgeons will not get involved in a surgery such as mine. I finally have an answer to why I couldn't feel my toes or the pad on my left foot. I want to focus on my healing and pray for God to help me with the loss of sensation. I need closure and time to heal from this permanent disability. Thank you so much Dr. Sammarco for taking such wonderful care of me. Even though it's a tough loss for me, I know you did everything you could to preserve the rest of my foot from further injury.

I had an Achilles tendon transplant. It was not successful and Dr. sammarco who is sure it was because I didn’t follow his directions, which of course I did it. Once the surgery was over he had no interest in my case because it was not successful. His bedside manner is atrocious. I would not have him operate on my dog.

Dr Sammarco has been my doctor since 2004. He reconstructed my right foot 17 years ago and has performed several minor surgeries on both feet. He’s an excellent doctor.

When to see him for my right foot he was very short said as he walked out the room we need to get a MRI. Received my paper work from from one of his associates got to the desk we will see you when you need us. I asked what about the MRI? Oh he doesn’t think you need that. Would have been nice for him to Communicate that to me. Also his staff are very rude acted like I did not know what I was talking about. Doctor was in my room for all of three minutes.

I waited a little longer than I like but he was very professional and. Asked all the right questions and he is the best and worth it however long it takes to see him. I have some major surgeries on my feet ahead of me but I feel real good about Dr Sammarco doing them
