Wojciech Mazur's Online Review Report Card

Another physician said it best when telling me that Dr. Mazur is “amazingly knowledgeable and well seasoned.” He is intelligent and very well informed in his area of cardiology and imaging. He maintains the capacity to speak with clarity in a manner that is understandable to the patient. There is no question that Dr. Mazur is an acute listener that spends extra time when necessary to help a patient relax. Communication including listening as well as talking is essential for a doctor and Dr Mazur possesses these qualities. His sense of humor helps one leave with a smile and generates a feeling of calmness. His staff maintains a welcoming environment. They are friendly, helpful and available. Calls are answered in a remarkably timely fashion which is an asset to the patient and reflect quality set forth by a remarkable physician.

Dr. Mazur is the greatest dr! He was the only dr to figure out what was wrong with me . I went many years just being pushed to the next specialist and never getting anywhere. But , Dr Mazur took the time to figure out what was going on and gave me peace of mind. I know I’m in great care!!

This would be zero stars if this was possible. As my dad sits over at St.Elizabeth hospital as I type this, the man ignored all the classic signs of a heart attack. My dad has a condition where his heart would get out of rhythm for a short period of time. This would happen maybe 2-3 times a year for a very short period of time (maybe 20 minutes or so). About 3 weeks ago this began happening more and more for much longer periods of time. He had 7 episodes in a 3 day period, all lasting hours and getting more painful and chest pain. Any normal person, let alone a Doctor should know that is concerning. This man showed ZERO CONCERN. After several calls to his office, and continued episodes with his heart, they finally got a heart monitor on his over a week after they started. He had two episodes while wearing the monitor for 24 hours (at this point, he is up to 12-14 episodes). It takes them a week to give results of the monitor (after my parents had to call and ask what was going on with the monitor results). “Oh, well things seem to be normal other than the your normal problem.” My dad explained that these are very painful and what is the plan to get them to stop happening so frequently? “Oh let me ask the doctor and call you back.” Two days pass and my parents had to call back over there (meanwhile these heart episodes keep happening several times a day or night). They were told “oh, he is going to up your medication.” Let’s do a stress test next week (zero sense of urgency) and see if you might have something else going on. Gee, you think something else might be going on with 25-30 heart episodes in the span of 3 weeks when he had 2-3 max a year over the past 20 years? This man could have cost my dad’s life. Simply inexcusable!! No one needs to go to medical school to understand something else was going on. Pure common sense should have told him this.

Awesome cardiologist! Very thorough. Personable. Makes you feel very comfortable. Gets answers and communicates with your other doctors.

Excellent, knowledgeable, great bedside manner and can effectively communicate with all ages. Would highly recommend. Well worth the wait.

After being failed by the healthcare system, Dr. Mazur stepped in and turned the entire situation around! I was barely 30 and thisclose to needing a pacemaker! I am now several years out, 125lbs down and have a normal EF. He watched me over my high risk pregnancy, and got our little one earthside ALONG WITH ME. I went from abnormal to completely within normal range. You must be compliant, willing to learn and stop any behaviors that may be affecting your heart. He is a Doctor with Heart, that works with Hearts.

He listens so well and explains everything completely. He treats me as a human being .

He really take the time trying to get to the root of why my blood pressure keep being so high trying to get my cholesterol level down I really appreciate been Dr Mazur been my cardiologist

Mazur is the best! I have been having cardiac symptoms off and on for some time, my regular cardiologist continued to brush me off when I showed up at his office so I started seeing Dr Mazur. He showed a great deal of compassion and concern and worked very hard to help me and was able to figure out that I do have cardiac issues that are highly unusual for my age. He’s very down to earth and personable. If you want honest help Mazur is the one to see.

Dr Mazur took his time with my sister who has a complicated case. He was a great educator for her, empathetic and has a great sense of humor with a down home personality. If you don’t want to listen to his great recommendations, then don’t bother taking his valuable time. He also listens and recognizes other health care professionals. His staff are also excellent.
