David R Mandel's Online Review Report Card

Horrible bed side manners. I just went to him the beginning of June. I was diagnosed with RA the end of May. This guy didn't explain a thing to me, I was in and out of his office in 10min. Had to go home to "GOOGLE " it..!!!! Really don't think he likes women neither. Don't Go!!! Find another Dr.....

Dr. Mandel was very rude to me, over and over.

Doctor mandell has been treating me for 22 years. He never gives up No matter how challenging I am. He's kind and courteous and a good lisiener!! I don't know where I would be without him. He is a phenomenal doctor.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR OR OFFICE. Dr. Mandel does not care about patients. His only concern is MONEY!!!! Worst experience I have EVER had.

I met with Dr Mandell for the first time a week ago, upon referral from one of his long-time RA patients He is THE most professional clinician I have had thenprivelege of working with in 20 yrs of orthopaedic issues.

I was referred by my Primary Care doctor because the first referral Rheumatologist was booked out until August. I called the office, and the lady who answered sounded half asleep. I told her I had a referral and would like to schedule an appointment. She then asked what the issue was, so I said “the reason for my referral...” and she immediately cut me off yelling “no! I don’t care what the referral is for! Where is your pain located?!” To which I replied “Nevermind, I will seek care elsewhere.” And promptly hung up. You would think someone who works for a Rheumatologist would have compassion; the people who get referred there are often going through a lot of pain and concern, but I guess compassion is not taught or expected at this office.

He is one of the nicest doctors I had on my journey to getting diagnosed with arthritis. He was the ONLY one to believe my pain and experience. He even took me in when I was 17.

I was referred to Dr. Mandel by a neighbor. I was skeptical from reading the reviews. Cleveland Clinic continue to give me a diagnosis of osteoarthritis for many years although I had extreme pain and swelling. Dr. Mandel did some bloodwork that was appropriate and an ultrasound which showed much more going on than just osteoarthritis. He does think outside the box. He is somewhat old-school as far as not being able to get blood work online etc. I just went and picked up my test results. I would prefer the inconvenience of having to pick up blood work to find a rheumatologist that actually looked at the problem. I recommend him. The only reason he doesn’t get five stars is because he is not as automated.

Dr. Mandel and the Team are wonderful. I have been going there for my Gout for over 20 years and the service continues to be stellar...

I see him rarely.. he doesn't often help much.. I get confused because he's written notes saying I can't work my body is deteriorating And won't get better.... then I'll see him another time and says well why can't I work isn't there something I can do? Seriously? And it makes me feel horrible inside.. ive been trying for disability for 6 yrs.. but this time I go in because my knees been going out and one hurts sooo bad. But yet he looks at my hands and recommends a hand therapist and hand cream gave meds I had allergic reaction to and I dont go back until June... 4 months.. I feel like I go but I'm not being heard or taken seriously.. is it because I'm young idk.
