List of Rocio Moran's Reviews
Dr Moran was one of the worst medical experiences I’ve ever had. She is completely dismissive of other medical providers findings, including those in the same organization as her. She is completely dismissive of decades of lived experience.
Horrible! Provider acted as if I was making all of my symptoms up. Clearly has no idea about anything, she acted as if it was crazy that my symptoms started at 24 when most symptoms present themselves in ages 23-30. She did beighton scale completely wrong. I saw another geneticist and I was diagnosed with marfans, which if it goes untreated you can die at a young age. If I would have let my appointment with this provider deter me from pursuing my issues, I could have died at a young age. I would never ever recommend anyone to see this careless doctor.

Dr. Moran, Is quick to dismiss any previous doctor’s findings, including other genetic work ups by other geneticists. She will leave you feeling unheard and that you wasted your time. What made me almost drop my jaw to the floor was when she bragged about being good friends with the EDS world expert Dr. Claire Francomano. She then went on to say how Dr. Francomano believes in Hypermobile EDS but she does not, “she agrees to disagree.” She also said she doesn’t find a reason for labeling someone with Hypermobile EDS. She also does not follow the correct Beighton Score Protocols and believes, for one, your thumb should just flop down to your wrist as if it had been severed. Never in my life have I had such a weird Beighton Score assessment and I’ve had plenty- even with other geneticists. I’ve spoken to other fellow EDS patients in the NE Ohio area and they’ve agreed that she is not reputable and has been “nasty” even to their own mothers. One even went so far as to reporting her!
I saw her at MetroHealth because I was concerned about heart issues and my HEDS. She had the audacity to inform me that she didn't believe in the diagnosis. This is a dangerous attitude. For people who have searched for years for answers and to be blown off like that can be very depressing. Unfortunately her supervisor tends to believe her rather than her patients when reported on.
Dr. Moran is highly uninformed about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. She is quick to dismiss other doctor’s findings, even other geneticists’ reports. She was unprofessional and went so far as to brag about how she is friend with the world expert on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Dr. Claire Francomano, but doesn’t believe in Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and doesn’t see a point in giving anyone that diagnosis. Seriously, do not see this doctor. I am an Ehlers-Danlos patient and was diagnosed at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. I saw Dr. Moran at the behest of my cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic. She will leave you feeling worse than you already do and you will have wasted your time.

One even went so far as to reporting her to the higher ups at Cleveland Clinic. So really, I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this doctor.

Absolutely love Dr Moran, she is very knowledgeable and goes way above in making sure our daughter has the best life possible with her rare disease! I am so blessed to have a doctor who cares about my child and her thriving !
Dr. Moran is going above and beyond in trying to determine the reason for my medical problems. She is great at developing a rapport with her patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
