Affordable options for medical care.
Trying to drop off and pickup people for appointments is terrible here, you should really just have cops at your open entrances telling people they are not allowed to park there and actually enforcing it
Great place. People really cared about me.
On April 14, 2023, a family member suffered a head injury and the local hospital said that they needed to be taken to a Level 1 Trauma Center and asked which one we wanted. I had no first-hand experience with MetroHealth but had always heard that if someone had trauma MetroHealth was where you wanted to be so that was our choice. There was fear and anxiety over the injury itself, as well as going to a hospital with which I had no familiarity, to an area of Cleveland I’d never been but had heard was a bit sketchy. I followed the ambulance and had to park in the hospital parking garage. I know it may sound cheesy, but from that moment forward, I felt enveloped in care. I’ve had first and second-hand experience with short and extended stays at various Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital facilities and both are obviously top-notch, but I’d put MetroHealth slightly above either, based on our experience. The team at MetroHealth works together like a very well-oiled machine and every employee I encountered from the shuttle van driver to the ER intake person to every STNA, nurse, doctor, and cafeteria worker was very caring and impeccably trained. The shuttle van drives you from the parking garage to either the Main entrance or the ER entrance and the driver was so friendly and explained a lot about the shuttle service, the hospital, and where I needed to go and how to get back to my car. The ER intake person genuinely cared about my anxiety and went out of his way to get information for me and get me back to my family member’s room as soon as possible. The ER is huge - I saw ER room numbers up to 78, not sure how high it goes - but inside your room, you felt like you were their sole priority as each person came in and out flawlessly handling their duties and explaining what they were doing and why every step of the way. I left the ER late that night after my family member was being transferred to a room. There were multiple police/security guards around the ER entrance while I awaited the return shuttle and I never felt one ounce of concern for my safety at that time or any other. When I returned the second visiting hours started the next morning, I appreciated the security in place before you got to see a visitor and the impeccable cleanliness of the facility. The inpatient room was lovely and, again, the nurses and doctors we saw in AC4-203 were stellar. Very thankfully, discharge was possible early that afternoon. While I hope to never need ER or Hospital services again, if I do MetroHealth will be a very easy choice. Thanks MetroHealth!
I hate the main campus I always get lost its just too much for me and I hate that u have to pay for parking I usually go ro the satellite offices
Great people. Meds are always ready
If given the choice between UH, the Clinic, St. John’s or Metro, choose ANYWHERE but Metro. The staff are not care givers, especially ER nursing staff. Family member was in an auto accident and was quickly released without stitches and staples that were more than adequately installed with great care and concern by The Clinic as we’re very necessary the following morning.
I was recently hospitalized in the ICU/ICU step down unit and had an excellent experience, everyone was so kind and went above and beyond to try and make me as comfortable as possible in what was the most uncomfortable time of my life, they were encouraging & positive at all times. I work in the medical field and the ICU team is one id be proud to be on! Thank you guys for such excellent care! (Nicole, Omar, Amanda, Matthew) and everyone else I can't remember at the moment!
Hard to get updates about your loved ones. Visitation is horrible. Two visitors a day. Not two at a time, per day! Covid guidelines have been lifted! I was told they are just slow getting it switched back to normal by the person in charge of handling that. So far Cancer Care outpatient is great. A loved one has been admitted twice in the past 6 to 8 weeks. The first time was horrible. And this time doesn't seem to be as bad. Most caregivers have been exceptionally well. But most nurses have been the opposite. Very dry to patient.
Need to tell your top flight security to stop speeding down west 25th almost smashing into me then wanna drive along side me running his mouth

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
