Wonderful Dr he took Great care of my mom and removing her brain tumor. My family and myself are so grateful that this was detected and taken care of. He spoke with me after the surgery and explained everything. He saved my mom's life and I just want to thank him and his team for the incredible care and amazing knowledge they have.
This Dr saved my life not just once, but twice from my web like huge 5.0+/5.0 arteriovenous malformation in my brain, next to inoperable. I was diagnosed in March 2013 when I was 18 after it ruptured, had horrible headache and slept most the day for 2 months while the blood was being absorbed. Eventually, had an 18 hour craniotomy, but there was 2 small parts left over too deep to safely remove, so had 5 cyberknive treatments to slowly shrink them out. A couple months later in December 10, 2013, I unfortunately had a second AVM rupture, I was life flighted in a helicopter and Selman left from a Christmas party with his family to operate again. I had a seizure during the flight and had a stroke sometime during, dunno when tho. He managed to remove the rest of my AVM, resulting in being 100% AVM free now, but my stroke wasn't pretty, half numb on my whole body, spasticity, took years to be finally able to walk safely, had to relearn everything etc... But I'm cool with that, it reminds me every day how lucky I am. . Every day I wake up, I'm extremely grateful for him and his team for letting me continue life.
I have had three pituitary tumors removed by Dr. Selman and feel privileged to have him as my surgeon. EVERY aspect of his care is superb. I always felt informed, secure and safe. His care has allowed me to live fully and enjoy my life. Thank you Dr. Selman!
I was truly blessed to have had this amazing man as my Neurosurgeon in early March of 2019. Sadly, I had a very large Grade 4 Glioblastoma. Dr. Selman saved my life. I felt that he was compassionate about how extremely horrifying this is. Please pray for me. K.Nowak

Amazing staff. Very professional. Anyone would be lucky to be in Dr. Selman's care.
Amazing doctor...He saved my nephew's life 25 years ago (35 years old)and suggested his siblings have aneurysm testing..They were fine. Five years ago one of the nephew's son (33 years old)had the test done and they found small aneurysm and repaired it...👍👍
Dr. Selman saved my 2 year old. He spent 17 hours in surgery removing his lemon sized brain tumor from his tiny head. Not only was he able to remove the entire tumor, my son is now 7 years old and living a normal, healthy life. Thank you, Dr. Selman. Thanks to you and our entire UH team we were able to put our worst nightmare to rest.
July 12th was my second brain surgery done by the best in town, Dr. Warren Selamn. I feel great! Thank you for this life changing experience for me. And thank you Amanda his nurse, and Nurse Practitioner Nicole, you ladies made this experience so much easier for me than the first time.. .North Ridgeville, Ohio Stephanie A.
This doctor quite literally saved my life. I had an initial opinion from "the leading neurosurgeon" in Akron who gave me a 50:50 chance of surviving the operation and a lifetime of debilitating side effects to follow. Doctor Selman assured me with his procedure the biggest risk would be the anesthesia. He performed the surgery flawlessly and I live without scars or side effects to this day. I'm a husband and a father thanks to Dr Selman. Five stars doesn't seem like enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
