I visited to get clarification on a treatment option. Instead, I was repeatedly told, "No surgery," which was not the treatment option I was seeking. When I told him I had researched my condition online, he accused me of simply "googling" the diagnosis, when in reality I looked up information on the NIH website as well as ".edu" sites. Instead of answering my questions, he said, "I can tell you're not ready." He stood to leave the exam room while I was still trying to decide because he "has other patients." After I was dismissed and was leaving the office, he met me in the hallway and tried to further discuss my case.
