Dr Meara scheduled me in even though I did not have an appointment. She was very exact in my treatment going forward and took the time to type out the specifics so I could understand. Exceptional Dr that I would highly recommend.

I have gotten nothing from her as a provider for three years. She is dry and not friendly at all. She starts every visit with "What can I do for you" and proceeds to only write prescriptions or referrals. She does not answer any questions or give any guidance. My health has gotten worse over the last three years, and I feel she has not done anything to help.

If you want a doctor to just tell you what you have and what to do, this is the doctor for you. If you want a doctor that truly listens to you, answers questions, explains your diagnosis and treatment, and works with you, find a different doctor.

Terrible bedside manner and gave advice against the explicit advice of GI, Neurology, and GP at OSU. Was callous and absolutely unprofessional. Worst rheumatologist I have seen in over 40 years. Her advice set my treatment and my life back by a decade.

I told Dr. Meara of my increasing pain and symptoms, and she told me that I would have to learn to live with it. I found a different doctor.

The doctor really listened to what I had to say. I felt validated for the first time since I became ill. She is one of the most kind and compassionate doctors I have ever met. She took the time to personally call me when my test results came back. After three years of non stop pain I finally feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, compassionate doctor.
