List of Andrew Roth's Reviews
Dr. Roth was very kind and efficient. He immediately made me feel safe. Lastly, he answered all of my questions!
Dr. Roth comes off as an outgoing, caring doctor. I went there as a new patient and thought he seemed nice. Dr. Roth comes off as an outgoing, caring doctor. I went there as a new patient and thought he seemed nice. On subsequent visits I wasn't treated like a human, I was more of a case or robot or practice mannequin. The staff in the front are rude but the nurses are all really nice. Had a problem and first saw doctor Roth about it. He said they'd send urine to the lab for tests and I'll be called with the results. Never heard back. However, he gave me a small dose of antibiotics while we waited for the results. Came back after two weeks and this time saw Dr. Roth's assistant . Really nice lady I felt comfortable talking to and she helped me and suggested some over the counter drugs to help relieve possible causes. She took a swab and urine sample and said I'd be called in three days. Nothing happened. After about a week I called and they said dr Roth will call me back. Unfortunately I missed the call but he'd left a voicemail. I listed to the most insensitive spew of the tests being negative and to call his assistant if I had any more problems. I still had my symptoms and upon diagnoses elsewhere, the cause was found. Maybe he's really good with his old patients, but I'd advise new patients to go elsewhere if you want a doctor thats there to actually help you and not leave an insensitive voicemail for tests results. It's really expensive to go there too even with insurance
Dr. Andy delivered 2 out of my 3 babies; my last being high risk. I've never felt so comfortable and at ease with an OBGYN before. Dr Andy was ALWAYS available when I needed to see him or if I had any questions. Very personable and excellent bedside manners. My husband always enjoyed going to every visit with me because he considered Dr. Andy his "buddy". If you're seeking an OBGYN that's personable, compassionate, genuine and experienced; Dr. Andy should be your pick!
Dr Roth was the Doc on call when I was admitted for postpartum hypertension. His bedside manner could be better. He wasn't very compassionate when I was hospitalized 4 days postpartum away from my baby and having severe anxiety. He told me I needed anxiety meds.... men. I don't think he bothered to use his brain that I was hormonal and away from my baby. He did get my blood pressure under control. He was punctual and at my bedside every morning at 6am. He discharged before 9am. He wasn't a bad doctor. I just like my ob/gyn better.
I am so disappointed with my experience here. He ordered an unnecessary test that my insurance would not cover and then would not refill my prescription unless I would acquiesce and have the test. When I reported a side effect of a particular medication he prescribed, he argued with me that it was not a side effect that ever happened and upon reading the package insert, it was, in fact, a very common side effect. He was just not my type. Very rushed and harried, argumentative and pedantic. Not at all a good listener. His staff is very nice. He is not at all a bad doctor. He is just not at all what I want or need.
I never thought I would see a male gynecologist, but here I am, 10 years later and would not go to another doctor. Dr. Roth is the only physician I've ever been to who calls me personally with lab results and if I need to get in touch with him I can call his office and HE WILL CALL ME BACK. I saw one negative review on here and it's unfortunate she didn't give it another chance. I'm pretty sure the 'exam' room she is referring to is the room where they draw blood- there are 2 seats in there but it is not an exam room. I will say this though- the staff often leaves a lot to be desired. There are a few nurses who are great but the front desk staff ranges from somewhat friendly to almost hostile at times. However, that is definitely not keeping me from continuing to go there.
I found Dr. Roth via my insurance a few years ago. I'm surprised I haven't written a review for his office yet. If you like a doctor who is attentive, intelligent, and confident in his skills, Doctor Roth is your man. If you want a doctor with good bedside manner, is funny and makes you laugh, and doesn't make you feel like you're wasting his time, you need to see Dr. Roth. He's always been so kind and willing to answer all my questions (no matter how silly). He constantly reassured me that he would rather I call him about anything than not call at all. He's the only doctor who accurately figured out what was wrong with me after many many doctors. And what's amazing is that he can also do regular women's health things too. So not only do I have a doctor who I can turn to for my OBGYN requests, I have an all around women's health doctor that can answer questions about a flu, an ear ache, skin stuff or give me medication for any of my other issues (thyroid especially). One thing that I really appreciate is that the nurse doesn't just bring you into a cold room, tells you to get undressed, and then the doctor comes in quickly and does his thing. Not in this office! No way! I meet with a nurse, who goes over vitals and instructs me to come sit down in his office. Dr Roth and I talk about my concerns or anything first while in a comfortable setting and then I am instructed to go into a room. It's the little things like that that make my experience here a lot better than at other doctors. Things I appreciate because you don't see doctors take time for their patients like that anymore. So yes, it may take just a little longer than your average appointment, but you feel like you're in good hands. The women at his office are all very kind. They are sweet and make me feel at ease. They never once complain that my son has popped in on a few appointment with me for prenatal things. They get finding a sitter is hard. Dr. Roth also understands and never makes me feel bad about bringing him (he always offers him a sucker with my permission). One time I didn't bring my son with me and he went out of his way to get a sucker and told me to give it to my son when I saw him! "Us boys gotta stick together." He's a great doctor that truly cares about his patients. Go to him!
I have been a patient of Dr. Andy Roth for over 10 years, best Physician I've ever had . Let me ask you all, is your physician available for YOU 24/7? Does your Dr. call you personally and speak to you about your test results? Has your Dr. ever met you at the office on a SUNDAY because you called the service that you're ill? Dr. Roth wants you to call whenever you need him! Crazy, huh? He's wonderful, smart and CARES about you. He's not a corporate group, he's private practice.
Dr. Andy is a great doctor, however the waiting time and process is miserable and not worth it. I checked in for my appointment on time and waited a half hour watching women who showed up after me get called in before me. I went up to the front desk and apparently there had been issues with my insurance that had they told me I could've cleared up immediately. Then I proceeded to wait another half hour before being called back. A nurse came in and spoke with me for 3 minutes before leaving again and then another patient was sent into the exam room with me to wait. It was awkward and inappropriate. I waited in the back for another half hour before finally seeing the doctor himself. That's an hour and a half after my appointment time. Scheduling could be much better. I understand a certain amount of waiting at doctors, but my time is valuable too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
