I visited Dr. D'Souza for a second opinion. My previous surgeon told me I needed my chest cut open to remove my cancer. Dr. D'Souza was able to remove my cancer using the surgical robot and I was home in 3 days. Thank you for saving my life.

Having been referred to Dr. D'Souza from across the State of Ohio, I naturally looked him up on the Internet out of curiosity. When I read the ONE REVIEW which was available, my expectations were not very high when my appointment day arrived. I was in for a surprise to meet a very professional, polite physician who extended every courtesy in eloquent fashion. By the way, he DOES NOT have a "thick accent". Dr. D'Souza very obviously had a full schedule, but very generously shared his time an talents with me to ensure I understood the ramifications of my disease. He did not lead or force me to a decision, but rather helped me make a decision by providing the pluses and minuses of my choices. I am thoroughly pleased with Dr. D'Souza and highly recommend him.

Dr. D'Souza is outstanding! I would recommend him to anyone with lung cancer. He spent time with me and my family and took great care of me. Nothing but good things to say about him. His office staff are kind and friendly. He is always on time and made us feel comfortable in his care.

I saw this MD briefly for an initial visit, and the first thing it came out of his mouth was: I am surprised you are still alive or walking" ........ who says that to ANYONE much less to a cancer patient? He has no manners and I immediately switched and requested another surgeon, also he made us wait for a while. I would not recommend him at all.

When I have been admitted to St Raphael's in the past, I have always been taken care of by great doctors. Dr. D'Souza was often late, hasty with my care and often tried to leave before I could tell him how I was doing. I was so upset with him that I refused to see him in the clinic for an outpatient appointment. When I go back, I will refuse to work with him. I could barely understand him with his thick accent. I would advise you to steer clear of him.
