I had an extremely complicated glaucoma surgery in June 2016. The tube that had been put in for my glaucoma in my left eye was coming out and had created a hole in my eyeball. Dr. Slabaugh performed surgery and removed the tube, implemented protocol for the hole repair and inserted another tube in a different location which continues today to have my glaucoma under control. This was no easy task as this was my 10th surgery on my left eye since 1991, and due to scarring from prior surgeries and my sclera buckle from my retinal detachment surgery in 1991 (the first eye surgery in the left eye), there was a limited area where a new tube could be placed. Dr. Slabaugh did a great job. I am blessed. The ophthalmology department at Ohio State, now called the Havener Eye Institute, has been saving the vision in my left eye for 25 years!!

Doctor worked my husband into a very busy surgery schedule and corrected my husband serious visual problem! He and his staff did a stellar job !He is simply the BEST!!!
