Very focused on billing by 10 min increments, when I asked a question he said “you have to schedule another appointment and come back”. No regard for patients waiting on him. He has never invested in electronic medical records, or office space (same decor since 1980), dated and seemingly dirty—as if in a time warp. Poor bedside manner. Very condescending and dismissive, especially to elderly (my aging parent is a patient). Only treats symptoms and not root causes—which creates good repeat business—very profitable for him. Staff turnover —overworked and underpaid? Wouldn’t be surprised. Trying to get my parent to change doctors, but we are afraid the years of medical records will never be transferred properly. Bad situation all around.

Dr. small is a competent doctor. His office staff is absolutely horrible and very rude. Perhaps the office manager is the worst. It is like pulling teeth to get a referral. Then I have to call to follow up with everything. There is no email or online portal. Dr. Small is late a lot of the time. I was in an exam room and he was not even there yet. Like 20 minutes late. I am so happy I changed doctors.

I have given Dr. Small 5 stars in every category. I have never visited a doctor's office that is so punctual. Yes, Dr. Small is never in a rush, he explains everything is such detail, and doesn't mind how long it takes to be clear. He knowledge overwhelms me, and he is beyond helpful. His follow up is great, and if I ask a question, he or his staff gets back to me in a timely fashion. His staff,, too, is capable an more than willing to help in every way. My husband and I are so pleased we have happened upon him. We feel blessed! Pat & Carl Patek

Inconsiderate loud voice for sensitive medical issue. Denied referral for medically necessary symptom treatment after lying to tell me insurance company makes final decision on referral approval/denial. Drove an hour outof my way and paid copay for absolutely pointless visit. Do not trust this doctor or his associated medical group. You can find better for your time and wellbeing.

very good experience. I am a pilot and went to him for the FAA BasicMed exam, which most doctors will not perform. IF YOU ARE A PILOT AND NEED BASICMED, THIS IS THE MAN TO CALL. UAL 777 CAP

I've never had this experience with a doctors office but the most unprofessional staff, rude and inconsiderate. They call in prescriptions without giving the insurance information. Find a Doctor that cares about patients and hires a staff that understands what customer service is.
