Pleaseee please if you or someone you know needs help and is struggling with addiction and/or mental health DO NOT go to White Light Behavioral Health in Columbus, OH. My experience there was a nightmare from when they got me in the door on Wednesday 3/6/24 at 1 am. The place was an absolute mess, filthy, and a health hazard was the least of it. The “staff” is what i will call them (not nurses, directors, therapists, supervisors) i dont know if they in fact had any credentials. They did not know what they were doing. No doctors on site, confusion 24/7 as to the medications patients were given. I arrived so late and they said i can make my “Safe Call” the next morning. Fast forward they threw me into a room and took all of my belongings and locked it up. They gave me medication when i arrived that I did not know what it was. Lets just say from that point on once they get you inside you are thrown on your own. Thursday morning came and I got the roundabout no one would let me use a phone and they all were telling me to go to this person and that one and the next. I dont even know how to summarize the disaster I endured for 5 days crying and trying to reach my family was impossible. They all are liars and use manipulation tactics to push you around. My family was on my release forms so that they can call and know everything going on and what the plan was. My family called everyday and was completely lied to. They never told me my family was calling. I am more traumatized than when i walked in. I tried getting myself some proper help only to be left in a worse position. Everyone is either new or training because all the people before either quit if they had somewhat of a heart or they got fired. I am disgusted by the treatment and feel terrible for others who are stuck there. They need to be shut down!!! Now I see the reviews coming through they are having staff members write positive reviews! This makes me sick!!! These are some of the names who were awful and manipulated and tried pushing me around. MsAnnette, Ms Marley, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Rhonda, Ms Laurie, Ms Shaayan, Dr Wakim who I am trying to get a hold of who i saw for 1 min over skype and now is MIA. They always have their badges turned around and texting eachother so they can tell one another who is on to them. I met a man who is brand new who was doing a group, Mr Mitchell he was amazing I can tell he truly cares, I guarantee he will not stay there after seeing how the other staff treats patients. Please stay away from White Light!

They sent me home for 2 weeks family problems they said I can leave my clothes and shoes came back every thing gone I paid $180 for some boots and $100 for some panda nikes stayed two more weeks when I came back when they gave me my things $58 dollars was missing it was a $100 dollar bill in my locker I bought 4 packs of crowns came up to $24 dollars and some change then I sent for 3 more packs came up to 18 dollars when they gave me my stuff it was 7 dollar a dollar on change out of a 100 staff stole my things and I'm out of money don't go they have sex in showers nasty food is terrible no phone and the staff will not let u use the gotta beg for it

If you need to detox from drugs or alcohol this absolutely is not the place you want to go. I barely saw or spoke to any staff the whole time I was there which was only 24 hours but the vibe was just way off. I told them I wanted to leave and nobody spoke to me for like 8 hours at all. If you need help don't go here.

A few BHTs got sticky fingers and management sticks up for them by twisting and trying to fill you with your past! Instead of confronting staff it's about excuses! It's went downhill..

I was there for treatment for alcohol. Abuse I ended up having a seizure while there and had a hospital stay which led me into a physical rehab facility. Tried getting my stuff from white light was like going through hell just to get your belongings once I did get my belongings items were missing trying to get a hold of someone from white light is like Two Two now just doesn’t happen. I am still missing shoes brand new shirts still in the packaging brand new undershirt still in the packaging brand new socks in the packaging about $200 worth of stuff with no answer. Can’t get a hold of anyone nor where they call back. Just don’t understand this place wouldn’t recommend.

The staff in particular on night shift are unprofessional and disrespectful to the clients also very lazy the quality of care for the clients is not very good toxic working environment would not recommend anybody to go there the bht's and some of the male nurses get lost for hours

DO NOT GO HERE. THIS IS MY THIRD AND FINAL REVIEW. I HAVE WROTE TWO OTHERS. THIS PLACE IS GETTING SHUT DOWN AS OF JUNE 1ST. THEY ARE TRYING TO HEARD AS MANY PEOPLE IN AS THEY CAN TO TRY TO MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN BEFORE THEIR DOORS ARE CLOSED. EVERY SINGLE REVIEW ABOUT THIS PLACE ENDED UP BEING 100% ACCURATE. I WISH I HAD NEVER COME TO THEIR PROGRAM. I KNEW THAT THERE WAS FRAUD GOING ON FROM SAY ONE. I HAD NO CLUE HOW BAD IT WAS UNTIL THEY KICKED ME OUT FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. BUT NOW I KNOW THE REASON IS RETALIATION FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS PLACE AND FOR THE REVIEWS I LEFT. THEY WILL LITERALLY LEAVE YOU WITH NO WHERE TO GO. I AM SO VERY LUCKY AND BLESSED THAT I HAVE AN AMAZING SUPPORT SYSTEM. I AM SO SCARED FOR THOSE THAT ARE TRYING TO GET AND STAY SOBER THAT DO NOT HAVE A GOOD SUPPORT SYSTEM TO FALL BACK ON. IF YOU HAVE BEEN WRONGED BY THIS PLACE PLEASE GET A MEDICAL MAL PRACTICE ATTORNEY. THE MORE OF US THE BETTER. I DO NOT PERSONALLY CARE HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE. I AM JUST HAPPY THAT I WILL BE HEARD. I AM ACTIVELY PRAYING FOR MY FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN RECOVERY THAT HAVE BEEN WRONGED BY THIS PLACE. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP MY FRIENDS.
