List of C. Michael Collins's Reviews
Dr Collins suggested My husband have turbinate sinus surgery to aid with his ear aches from allergies - was hoping it would help - but it was a waste of time and a few thousand dollars.Afterward he made the comment they could grow back?! At his check up he pulled the cotton from his nose (and did not give him a paper towel, tissues - or a warning) - blood poured all over his brand new white shirt. The DR. just seemed nervous and in a rush.Seems he should have put tubes in his ears instead. My husband is VERY frustrated with going through a procedure that didn't improve his condition & is still in such pain from ear aches with his allergies.
Could not have asked for a better doctor for my 5 year old. He was so attentive and kind, calm and knowledgeable. There were a lot of unknowns but he gave us all the options and helped us make an informed decision while trusting us as parents to know our daughter’s needs. Love him!!
He’s literally the nicest dr I’ve ever had. I wish he was in general practice. Great bedside manner and is really funny too.
Very knowledgeable and treats you like family.
He failed to check that I was on blood-thinner and also failed to check if I was allergic to the chemical used to cauterize my nose. As a result I went into a sneezing fit during his treatment during which he held my nostrils shut forcefully to attempt to stop the powerful, bloody sneezing. I went back and saw his nurse practitioner to help with the now worse bloddeding and she was not at all helpful. My nose is still bleeding frequently and my referring physician has suggested I go for a second opinion ... which I will.
What a wonderful Doctor and Surgeon! My third ENT in the Dayton area and the one who finally took the time to thoroughly examine my condition and try all possible remedies. He actually takes as much time as necessary to ask questions, answer mine and check for understanding. When I finally opted for surgery, he did extensive work with very little post op pain or even discomfort. My wife is now being treated by Dr. Collins for vocal chord issues. Highly recommend!
Dr. Collins helped me with a deviated septum. He listens well, and is open to questions. I liked him enough to take my mother to him for hearing and nasal issues. He was also patient with her.
Dr.Collins has done so much for my son he has had a lot of issues and my son love's him to death. I have had no problem's at all with him and would recommend him to anyone. Also has a great bedside manner!!!!
Dr.Collins lacked compassion on my issues. I asked several questions and he continued to say he really doesn't know anything until we get the tests back. His staff repeatedly called me to set up follow up appointments and they are always for Fridays and Wednesdays....;I repeatedly tell them I am only available on Mondays. If I had a choice in the matter I would not recommend Dr.Collins to anyone.
A great Doc always friendly and listens to your concerns.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
